i dont understand why the flow from the 1st column suddenly stops. does the inlet periodically stop the pressure?
From my understanding, the flow does stop through the 1st column during the flush mode. Typically the flush time used is very short though (200 ms), so I think it doesn't cause too many issues.
please do recommend epa or astm method for TPH for seawater any gravimetric method is available for it
