Why Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was great Part 1
มุมมอง 2046 ปีที่แล้ว
Part 1 of showcasing many features in Chaos Theory that are absent in the newer Splinter Cell games. Chaos Theory was the 3rd Splinter Cell entry, and introduced many innovations that still hold up today. Hopefully if we ever see a Splinter Cell 7, they would bring back some of these gameplay elements.

They were an awesome squad combination in Mass Effect 2, but that's not the case in Mass Effect 3. Kasumi's flash grenade and shadow strike powers are gone, downgrading very badly from Mass Effect 2.

What A Cruel Dad 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Best scene count: 1 out of (number of every cutscene Haytham is in) 2:56
Not up for the Batchelor parties? The females are single and oh so ready to mingle!!!!
Haytham's charisma is incredible "afterwards he's Edward's son too", Connor also there is charisma but not as much as grandfather and his father.
Desmond: Oh Wanna be? I love it! I will walk like ezio, Or no, Like Connor; Oh yeahhh!!
0:22
AC3 walkstyle is overly animated and silly
I subscribed. BTW Vince McMahon should say sorry to Britney. Thanks, dude.
6:30 💀
I love Haytham, such a well written character. He's such a tragic guy and in spite of all his faults you could really tell that, albeit in his own way, he really did love his son and Ziio. The thing about Haytham is that while he is a villain who does abhorrent things, I feel like you can tell that there is a good man somewhere within him. He loves his family, I'd argue even more than the Templar order. He immediately killed Reginald Birch when he found out he was responsible for the death of Haytham's father Edward, who was an Assassin, and it's heavily implied he let Connor win their fight because he couldn't go through with killing his own son.
“Tasted of the forest fruits did you?” When I heard that first time I lost it laughing 😂
6:01 oHh
6:29 ‘he is my son’ ‘tasted of the forests fruits, did I was like.. wait 💀
Truly the best duo
A brit telling how pathetic an american is, i love AC3 and haytham
It’s kinda sad how next gen loading times have killed the white room loading screen, what am iconic and unique way of doing a loading screen
Crazy how the combat is more fluid in this game compared to the newer ones
“🙏🏼are you ben church’s man?🤨” LMAO
I didn’t love assassins creed’s 3 story but Haytham and Connor’s relationship was great
The way the writers use this series of missions to hint at the relationship they would’ve had is phenomenal. Haytham testing Connor to see how capable he is, helping fix his suit after Connor grabs it. “Because I said so.” “just do as I ask.” And the constant willingness to discuss ideology, since he hopes his son might be willing to turn.
Both these characters deserve an award for "father & son moments", Connor son award & Haytham father award.
Even though Haytham was quite young when his father died, I think he saw a lot of Edward in Connor.
Haytham and Connor what lads though. xD
With my previous gameplay with AC & AC ezio line. I always see the templars as a bunch of egotistic individuals who only love power. My experience with AC3 and with Haytham puts me in a perspective where I can sometimes see the point of the cause. Especially with the talk of freedom and independence.
6:01 That's just hilarious.
This is the best of the franchise
The storyline is god awful. However, the online gameplay was the best out of all of them. It's unfortunate the servers aren't live anymore
James D'Arcy is the best Haytham if they'll ever do a live action for him.
8:19 look at the background! There runs the second Haytham)))
Its too bad haythem was a templar because he was alot of fun to play and i kinda wish edward hadnt died because if he hadnt we would have haythem fighting for the colonial assassin brotherhood.
I just wish Edward died in a more interesting way. I do like Haythem's journey of choosing what philosophy he wants to follow and deciding it wasn’t the assassin's
@@bdeamon1 he does regret his decision to be a templar at the end of the game though wishing he had been a assassin that he could have been with connor and his mother.
Just imagine if they gave you two separate endings to this game, which you could decide when you were on the roof discussing the assassins and templars. Stay with the creed or join the templars/your father. Resulting in a slightly different ending to the war.
5:32 me as a child realizing that, despite my best efforts, i am once again in church on sunday
imo Haytham crossed the line of cold pragmatism into excessive ruthlessness.
Why did the third entry suck so bad? 😂 I was waiting for this game to get good.
Seems haytham time with shay is showing
Who is the VA for Haytham?
Adrian Hough
Haytham was a chad.
Connor was very naive AND SEXY D:
Ac3 could be at this point of the game a breakthrough in the series but they chose to not only kill off haytham then they killed desmond too. I mean the story could have ended in assassins templar working together and in present time abstergo negotiating with desmond and then they work together aswell. After Juno is freed she of course kills of every templar on sight but desmond lives on. That should have been the story.
guard : "tasted of the forest's fruit, did you?" haha we all reaalllyyyy know what he meant there by that 🤣🤣🤣when haythen specifies that connor is his son
This game had the corniest story line and characters lol.
It came to me that this was perhaps the very first time (not counting Altair clapping Templar cheeks) of Templars and assasins working together for a longer time. Connor and Haytham gave us the beginning of Templars and Assasins „we are not so different you and I” that we get in the later games.
ik it's an odd pick but this game is still my favorite in the series. it was the first game i played as a little native boy where the game had a native protagonist. always loved connor
8:19 is that a second haytham in the background?
Omg 😂😂😂😂
Connor (Ratonhnhaké:ton) Kenway deserves a sequel.
I always find Connor complaining to his father about killing all their captive guards in the game so hilarious. Because first off, how many random redcoats has Connor sent to the shadow realm himself, and bro he is literally an assassin. Haytham is more of an assassin than Connor most times, Altaïr used to do the same thing.
Haytham Kenway has become a symbol as the Templar Order (in-game) Which is also an iconic character.
Just when Haythem starts convincing me, he slits some poor prisoner's throat...
8:19 extra haytham?
Connor and Haytham are such amazing characters. As a south-american this game's historical background and setting did not pique my interest but Connor's story is a very interesting one specially in realtion to his father and their family, AC3 won me over and broke my heart with their story
