Uh, I'm excited to see what are the upgrades.
Do you have to be present at the livestream to win?
How will this printer be offered give away, will it be a raffle or how? How will the winner be selected?
we will anounce all the details in the next live stream so hit the subscribe button and ring the bell to be notified when new videos are uploaded!
When is the live?🎉
soon hit te bell to be notified when will be live!
Hello @nadir3D, I don't know if you speak Spanish, would there be a way to put the magnetic heads like the ones used by the voron and change between them during printing or is it not possible since it is a modified klipper x sovol ?
Holla @dhokocamus8205 entiendo Español And yes it would be possible in the future.
Thank you, on an excellent first livestreem. Their are a couple of times I would segment that I think would improve on your first design. 1. The top of the printer, I think, would be better if the top opening was split into 1turds and hinged with the larger side to the front for ease of fillement changes . 2. The hot end cooler cooler fan changed to a 20 15. Hope you don't mind me making their suggestions. Kindest regards. Mike Irish.😅
Can you share the slice settings? In curiosity :)
this was 11 mo ago. new i have diferent setup. but keep an eye on the channel we will have a Ender6 build series and will have a lot of fun including slice settings
Love this!! XenoBurner is a great name! Is this avail yet? And if not is it Printables that it will be avail on? Also does the Spartacus have ability to use diff heatblocks like this toolhead?
Xenomorph its on testing phase yes. Spartacus has 3 hotends until now. Hope that in less than a month will be all available to download. This is why i suggest to follow to get the updates as soon as we release them
@@nadir3D followed after you first video i watched. I very much enjoy your videos. Great content! Keep it comming
Amazing work! I checked printables and found the Top Hat file you mentioned. I was unable to find the hinges, door and side panel dxf files. Are they not ready yet or do I need to goto a different site. Thanks again for such great content!
I will upload tomorrow the hinges and the handles + the DXF. thanks for reminding me
I have just released them. Enjoy!
Where is the rest of the info,
I made a live stream about Spartacus the toolhead
Great work man! Good looking upgrades! By any means do you have the original cad file (without upgrades) so i can take some measures for a DIY enclosure? im from Argentina and its kinda expensive here (1600usd🥲), thanks!
I just released the dxf for the panels, the door handles and hinges design on my printables profile
@@nadir3D Thanks a lot man! You rock!
@@VicioStation you are welcome
that result is wild for the speed it was printed at.
Thanks 🙏 more testing maybe at the end of may ;)
That looks 👌 Could you share the link, please 🙏

@@mikeskerritt9618 you are welcome. hope you like it as much i like it. post your make
hi can you share your settings in terms of speed acceleration jerk microstepping steps/mm ??? thanks oh and nice job because this one got a good quality
All speeds set to 250mm/s A limit 2.5 second / layer slow down to 100mm/s Scv/jerk 100 Acceleration 14000 Microstepping set to 16 I had active cooling for steppers
@@nadir3D thanks for info. RRF or klipper ? did you configured input shapping ? i will try these settings as i just replaced my crappy LDO motors from the 1st BLV kit with moons motors.
@@SebastienChedalBornu i use Klipper firmware If you want we can chat more on discord its easier
Can't wait to see what kind of speeds you can push out of the SV08, maybe not quite this fast lol, but I bet you'll crush 12 mins.
We will see. The sliced file provided by Sovol its not according to the #speedboatrace but we will see
@@nadir3D ahh I didn't know there was a mandatory file, but obviously there would be, or it's pointless to compare times. I think running the speed benchy file fast is the most important run, and running the included 12 min file faster is just an interesting test.
진짜 관상이 꼬봉 관상이네요.
do you use the blv 2tnt mod or what are you using for your x assembly?
this is my version of BLV. I have adapted the #voron Gantry to the stock bearings to use as much part from the kit.
@@nadir3Dnice, are the files public anywhere or not?
@@nefnief3161 they could be. Tell me exact what are interested in. I have also a tophat. Also redesigned the Z and Bed mounts.
@@nadir3D it would be greate if you could publish everything on like printables as i think its really nice to have the option for a faster printer
Yep definitely, can't wait to build it and assemble it ;)
can't wait to see your color scheme
looks even better than the last one
Yes it looks. I have made some tweaks and managed to have a sub 10 min good looking 3D Benchy
Good job. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Hello and thanks. 👋
Cool!! wow! Congratulations!! Excellent full and self -instructive video, it was the information set and knowledge I needed to delve definitively and raise the level of my 3D impressions. Thank you very much and very successful
Thank you very much
Hi Nadir, great achievement! I am also waiting on my sv08 and will print your modifications when I have received my printer, starting with housing, display, venting+filter. If you need also someone for Beta Testing let me know. And for sure I will support your work ;) Did you think also to release short assembly videos later and explain the benefits from your mods compared to the original ones? Thanks, Dom

Interesting Video. Good insight
Glad you enjoyed it! next after my wedding (3days) coming with more content
im getting my sv08 soon just waiting on shipping. cant wait to see more info on this and try the beta!

I love where you're going with this, looking forward to updates as you get the printer. I know this isn't a big deal, but my OCD is kicking in when seeing the second top stack pattern doesn't match the way the bottom of the printers alternating pattern. Im assuming that the way it mounts to the printer I couldn't just flip it 180* so the pattern matches and would need to be remixed.
I will take a look to see if we can do something in this regard.
@sirwarrior Thanks to your suggestion I made several design for the top hat hope that your OCD its cool now :D www.printables.com/model/865851-sovol-sv08-top-hat
Hello Nadir, thank you for your great work on your project. I´m interested as a Beta Tester. I ordert a SV08 in the first 5 Minutes and hopefully I can get the Printer in Europe as one of the first.

I'll be most interested to see how the bed is mounted. I would probably get an SV08 as long as I can swap the crappy bed for a cast aluminium bed. The rest of it looks great as a cost optimised version of the V2.4, along with some real improvements like the ability to just remove a whole Z drive assembly to work on it. I am a bit disappointed they didn't go with aluminium for the motor mounts and XY joints though.
I have a initial sketch up for full aluminum gantry on the sv08. Motor mounts, xy joints and front idlers
@@TheRealDoubleT Nice. I'm already using some of your designs so I'll look forward to it.
@@grasstreefarmer Awesome
only when i will have my unit i can start make mods for the bed. definitely will be swapped in my case
Fantastic work! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
im def picking a Sv08 up
you will love it ;) more to come!
Multumesc Nadir, thanks for all upgrades!!
Cu placere! More to come ;)
Since this printer is way faster than the sv06 do you think filament rate of 60mm^3 or higher is suited to take advantage of the printer's full capabilities? You could be printing at 1000mm/min with a 0.6 nozzle and 0.25 layer height so it could really go that high or even hhigher
you can adapt whatever hotend you want. we have made also an adapter for Rapido UHF that is capable of 75mm/3 if i remember good.
@nadir3D I'm planning on upgrading to the rapido. Will be looking forward to getting my pre-order and printing some of your mods. Thanks for contributing to the community.
Glad to hear that you will love the features hope that in 2 weeks will finish with all the test and will be released to the public.
@@nadir3D got mine today. Doing the klicky mod first. Thanks for sharing.
And what about the cable guide?
it is routed trough the exhaust filter

Thank you for your work Nadir. Hopefully the printer will be a big success and a big community will grow around it! Regarding the carbon filter: I think the panels from Sovol are made of tempered glass, so those that ordered the printer with the optional panels will not be able to mount the carbon filter there. Maybe having a version of the top-hat with a cut-out for the carbon filter would solve this?
Thanks for the Idea! new updates are done! and we will present them in the next live stram when will post the tophat
I have also released the DXF for the panel
Hi all. Just to give me all a heads up, the panels are all steel with the top and doors being made of glass. I found this on the Solvol site after talking to technical support. Hope this helps. Reads . Mike Irish.
@@mikeskerritt9618 we released the dxf. You can cut your panels from any material that is 3mm thick. I will go with clear plexiglass because i like to have visibility. In one of my 3d printers i have all the sides from aluminium composite and is very dark inside the 3d printer. So i recommend to use plexiglass. See a lot of persons with “exploded” k1 tempered class door. And they start charging them to clear plexiglass
Hey man wondering if you can share the cad model for the tool head on printable or something if you are planning on having remixes of course
I will share all when they will be ready. Its still work in progress.
Nadir What do you put on the side panels?
Acoustic sound absorption foam
@@nadir3D Does it only isolate sound or does it also help with temperature?
@@Paulo_Araos Any barrier can be used as a thermal isolation. the best thermal isolator is the air gap between the layers ;) . this 3D printer started as a BLV MGN Kit and it came with this panels and also the side panels are from aluminum composite panel.. so when I'm printing ABS I put the Top HAT and i have only from the Heated bed @ 50-55C inside
You're single handedly going to make this printer a monster! This will be quite the adventure
I'm trying all my best :D
@@nadir3D i have yet to receive mine but your work is inspiring me to mod the crap out of this.
@@mg_customs8531 can't wait to see yours in action!

Love the mods you're coming up with! I hope our SV08s ship soon, was able to secure the early bird special at release! Are you woried about the bearing stacks missing a shim between them? I watched their EU livestream Q&A and when asked about this issue they didnt really acknowledge it if i heard right. Thanks for your amazing work so far, this is just the beginning!!!
You can check them before assembling them.
Very good point
In case of emergency you can still print them anytime.
Nadir the printer is 100% printed (clearly except for the metal parts) like any voron? I was quite interested in the project :)
Next livestream will be about this Project.
Do you think you can make a screen holder for the mks 5 inch screen?
If you provide the cad i could try.
looking forward to see all your mods in action! THe Enclosure looks awesome. i thought it was a bit dumb for sovol to mention that for 160 bucks you still had to print parts for the enclosure.
only 100 more bucks if you order together
@@garymilne7861 yeah I know. But I still think of you buy an enclosure for that much it should include all the parts....
@@MON5TERMATT true, but i feel that is the driection the market place is going .
Soooo if I purchase the model with the enclosure I still have to print parts for the enclosure?
