do you have all the measurement for each parts?
Hi there, check out cheaperjeepertv.com/building-a-jeep-camping-sleeping-platform/ I based my platform off his.
What did you use for the metal trim on at all?
Thin aluminum angle bracket from Home Depot.
@ Thanks, looks super clean.
Hi. I have a Jeep Liberty and the climate control module lights STAY ON, even with car turn off and locked. Whats could be the issue? Thank you.
You might want to check the fuse for the HVAC. Not sure what fuse number it is but it should be in the fuse box.
Very cool and narrated video. Thank You. working on my Jeep 2013 unlimited with a similar problem.
Hope it resolved your issue.
this is in correct i have replaced mine and it still doese the same thing
When you say it does the same thing? What do you mean? Are the actuators working or its not blowing hot air? Could be something else underlying.
Thanks so much. My 2013 just showed up with this issue.
Glad to help.
Thank you for this video it was a great help, i jus switched mine out today. Question was your blender door opening and closing all the time? Like even when the jeep was off?
Hi Johnny, yes and yes to both questions. It does that to ensure it remembers what position you left it off at.
Any new updates such as font and color of jeep
No update on that. Haven't really contact support about it. There are "patches" out there that could change a few things but I haven't looked into it.
I’m confused on the part number. I see 2 control modules on mopar website for A/C and Heat. Which is all I need as mine doesn’t have auto. The 1st one is P55111167AI for only $105, the next one is P55111168AI like yours for $245. Both say they fit my 2012 jk. So what the difference in them as is obviously rather pay less to fix this.
Sorry @HITMAN934, I'm not sure what the difference would be. Maybe ask a Mopar tech guy and they might provide some insight.
rear window defroster
@@taspiderman1which one has defroster ? When I look at the picture for both, they seem to illustrate that both have the defroster option. Which is also the light that blinks for the error code. Doesn’t matter too much anymore as my back window defroster wires came off the glass and I never did fix it with the electrical adhesive. Only my mirrors defrost with that option now.
Play all day, truck all day 😅
Big boy toys.
Does it show tire pressures?
Yes it does.
fuck youtube ads
Can you resolder that bad nvram?
I'm not sure. Not my expertise.
I bought my jeep used and had no clue it wasn't supposed to make that noise.
Oh wow, well now you know the fix. Thanks for visiting.
Great video I’ve been contemplating getting one for a few years now just wasn’t too sure of the longevity in the quality is yours still holding up
Thanks for visiting. Its holding up for now. All I worry about is the customer support if I ever have to reach out to them. Fingers crossed.
What model year is your Wrangler?
It's 2013 Sahara.
What did you do with the vacuum pump canister?
I moved it up into the engine bay under my SPOD.
That’s the control panel. The HVAC unit is under the magnesium dash frame. It is not a 10 minute job.
Thanks for the correction.
After 4 months, what's your take on this upgrade? Any issues with responsiveness etc? Pros / Cons?
Haven't had any real issues with the product yet, fingers crossed! There are a few things that don't work such as the compass and navigation which is not their fault as I don't have a compass module in my JKU. My stock stereo had the module built in and my aftermarket one doesn't have it. The buttons on the controller could be done a bit better, the paint is already fading compared to the stock one. Is the upgrade worth it? Yes, because it definitely makes the Jeep interior more up to date. The old cluster gauge just looks hideous in my opinion. Cost wise, could be a bit lower but if you compare this to any other dash on Amazon, AliExpress and Alibaba, the quality and appearance is far better than any of them. Finally, customer service is hit and miss. Just be mentally prepared if you have any issues with your unit. Hope this helps.
Great bumper, pain in the dick to install alone
Mine had heat so hot I thought it was going to melt the plastics.
I replaced my whole unit in my JKUR and the new one (from the dealer) did the same exact thing.
Is there any heat or ac coming out of the vents? If not, I'm surprised that the dealer didn't check everything before sending you off.
Cool,🌔🍄🌲🔥👌
Thx for dropping by!
Did you get the fitment issue sorted?
Yes I did, my grill was not seated on the driver side corner where the turn signal is. There's a clip there.
I like yours the best! What year jeep? Do you have these plans?
Hey Tyler, I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Check out @CheaperJeeperTV , I borrowed the plans from him. I believe Dino has a website that you can download the plans.
I love what you have going, but this video coulde be 20 minutes shorter.......too much rambling.........
Noted for next time. Thanks for visiting.
what site is that? it looks perfect
Awenda Provincial Park.
My heat is not working and it is doing the blinking would I have the same issue or is it something else
Might be your heater core.
Killarney park doesn't close ????
I believe its open all year around. www.ontarioparks.ca/park/killarney
I’m looking at the Front Runner slim roof rack also. I know you have the 1/2 rack which still allows to remove the freedom tops but do you completely loose the ability to remove the hardtop during the summer?
Hi there, technically, you don't lose the ability but it's a lot of unbolting as it secures to the rear role cage/frame.
@@W1LDCH1LD1thank you for your quick reply. Are you still running the Frontrunner and would you suggest it / change anything?
@@RoadRashOffRoad I'm still running it but if you want to be able to remove the hardtop with ease, I would suggest the roof rack from Metal cloak. metalcloak.com/jeep-jk-wrangler-suspension-fenders-bumpers-skid-plates.html#subCategory9
Wow I hope you can complain and write a review to warn others.
How is the hose holding up? My hose is collapsing on itself too. Is there danger to that ?
My current hose hasn't collapsed since replacing it. You might want to swap back to the original to prevent any issues.
@@W1LDCH1LD1 Thank you. That’s what I did. I think it was because I used 5/8” fuel line and not 3/8 or 1/2 like you
@@gsdls That's good to hear! and thanks for visiting.
ima have to do the same to my ss camaro (back to the original hose)
this is not an install video at all
I'm sorry it didn't meet your needs, I'll do better next time.
Thanks. Ordered. Which head unit is that? Very nice!
It's by Joying, but discontinued. You can find similar ones on Amazon.
I went with the Dasaita a few years ago, been perfect!
Most SAE 30R7 PCV hoses are vacuum rated at 24 in/hg for inner diameters less than 1/2 inch. But for inner diameters of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch the vacuum rating is lowered to 10 in/hg.
That's why I drive a 1992 Landcruiser.
junk
I just replaced mine, it blinked about 10 times (i did not set the knobs like you did, didn’t know that I had to do that???) mine is not working. Now what?
Sorry for the reply. When you say its not working, can you elaborate a bit more? No heat, no ac? or just not remembering the vent locations?
Good work boy!
You are the best
You do pretty good woodwork. I like the rear of your Jeep. One criticism you move your camera way too much I was getting sick
You could drill a few holes in your wood to decrease the weight of the wood. Just random hoes
Appreciate your criticism, will try and move less.
Is catch can sucking air from engine?
Its filtering the oil in and sucking the air back into the engine to burn.
Only question would be does it get in the way of the sun visor
It does unfortunately.
nice blower
Nice video ! Prepping for my trip there soon, that kid is a excellent foodie describing like Mark Wiens LOL love it !!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a fantastic trip and I'll pass on that wonderful comment to that kid. Cheers!
Hang in there Hong! What a pain in the ass.
Thanks Dave. I'm hanging for sure, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Again, thanks for your kind words and support.
My 2017 2.7l doesnt catch much oil. Im going back to stock and now having to replace the pcv valve because the vacuum hoses i keep buying keep collapsing. The trouble isnt worth it. Id rather pay someone or do a fuel induction service myself every so often.
How is this holding up, almost 2 years later?
It hasn't given me any troubles yet. A few random reboots here and there.
Thanks for the video. Mine also collapsed on my F150. I’m going to swap out my hose with the same. How has it been holding up for you?
Hey Tony, can't tell you at the moment. My Jeep's been at the shop for awhile due to a collision. I'll update you once I get it back.
@@W1LDCH1LD1 Sorry you hear about your Jeep. I hope everyone is ok
@@Tony-hr4bl Everything's ok, just been waiting on parts due to shortage :(
Hey tony my 2022 f150 5.0 is doing the same thing as well. Have you fixed it yet by any chance or have a solution? Thanks have a good one
@@DiegoGarcia-sp2ln I went with Nylon Stainless Steel Braided CPE Black Fuel Line. This fixed my problem and also looks great
Great job 👍 Have you done any more work on your storage system?
Thanks! I haven't unfortunately.
Thanks for posting this man! I watched another video but they didn’t have the skid plate on like you and I have. Good to know I don’t have to take that off. Excellent work!
