Great middle speech by axl, never did it again.
This is the definitive live version of Jive. The new versions are something to be thankful for, Paris and Tokyo '92 are legendary but this is the gold standard. I wish the video had focused on Izzy more is my only critique but him and Axl sounded great, Slash's solo was concise and intense. A perfect snapshot of why they were the biggest band in the world at the time.
Totally agree. From these two shows until the end of 91 were the best. The new video of the NY club show in May 91 is so good.

Even the cameras were always on Axl and Slash, and Axl taking the Izzy's main vocals, Izzy is the master, without him that masterpiece would not even exist.
Izzy was responsible for the majority of their best songs.
@@dannyh5937 Yes, as I remember now he wrote Nightrain, Mr Brownstone, Patience, 14 Years, Dust n Bones, Double Takin' Jive, etc, and co wrote the other hits.
@@diegoarciniegas8850 exactly. I don't look at him as your typical rhythm guitarist. It was almost like he played lead with Slash when Slash wasn't playing a solo. Band wasn't the same without him.

Espetacular esses caras ... GUNS AND ROSES é foda ! Que música maravilhosa , pra cima , toda perfeita , com solos de guitarra incríveis e prazerosos ... A verdadeira essência do Rock ! Neste Rock in Rio 2 ,no Maracanã , fui nos dois dias que eles tocaram , um no dia 20 , fui de pista , no gramado , e dia 23 , o dia do Rock pesado , eu fui de arquibancada ... era o finzinho "DO AUGE" do Guns and Roses ... e a voz do Axel Rose estava afinadíssima e afiada com seus agudos estrondosos ! esses dois Showzaços foram INESQUECÍVEIS !!! FIQUEM COM DEUS e Guns and Roses ...

Pure raw power! Guns n' Roses one of their best ever live performances! Double Talkin' Jive have one of the best live versions in this concert...slash's pure heavy guitar riffs, axl's voice, izzy and duff were amazing and matt sorum's heavy drums everything was just pure rock....
Totally agreed! One of my favorites was “mr brownstone” from the hippodrome in 92. Everyone was playing tight, and the sound man was bringing the a game, you could hear duff super clear, and his vocals, Then slash does this cool slide/wah thing on the intro, solo was perfect

No, the only Izzy solo on the uyi albums was the intro solo of Back off B*tch. Slash confirmed this on a 1992 interview for Guitar World.
Slash solo here is the best version I've seen he ever played.
