Yeah i think thats an area the developers dont want you to go in yet, until you progress the story. It's pretty confusing for gamer's just exploring the zone. Back in the old games they used to just put up a temporary Brain Scorcher field (psi emission field) to communicate to the player that you can't pass.

You can just run past them. I did just that. I now have the Mutant mod that makes them drop loot so there’s an actual reason to fight them now

Yes, indeed. Bought the game from GOG Galaxy and have this f'ked audio in the main game. Didn't even bother to play the expansion. Tried everything possible. Other output devices, disabling things, traditional audio, space sound, etc, etc... I've opened a inquiry on GOG's Galaxy website, and they gave the orientation to do the same things I've already tried. Even had send videos I've already seen. I basically unistalled the game. Very much disappointed! Was waiting to play this game half of my life, since 2016!

Just come back to the game after a lengthy hiatus never encountered these guys before and they look like a good time, gonna need to revise some of my builds but I think I know exactly what to try on these guys having seen the effectiveness of this strategy 👍

Remember after so many years after the trilogy, when i saw them in this remake, legit was like "oh great these fawking things again" glad the remake turned out way better than i expected, look forward to a DS2 remake for sure
