Hi, we’re Paul & Vi from Australia. In June 2014, we realized we were in need of a change from the daily grind. So, we decided to quit our “day jobs.” We packed up our home to embark on fun, sun, and soul searching…

Hua Hin, Thailand – Here’s What You’re Missing Out On
It’s been a long time since we were last in Hua Hin, Thailand… leaving behind our friends and this awesome place, to continue our adventures around the world.
Yet, when we were recently in bustling Bangkok… we decided to head down to Hua Hin to explore what it was like all these years later.
Having spent a lot of time in Hua Hin we have a soft spot for this beautiful beach town. So, it was exciting to get back there and experience what it was like. And boy, we have to say that a lot had changed!
Hua Hin is a laidback town about 3 hours drive south of Bangkok, sitting on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Its picturesque beaches, friendly locals and amazing cuisine will have you falling in love with this place.
If you’re in Bangkok and have a few days to spare, head down to Hua Hin city for a visit. Even better, you should stay longer. So then you can immerse yourself in all the activities and landmarks this special place has to offer.
We’re so glad we came back as we had an awesome time, re-exploring old places… and discovering new ones. We look forward to getting back here next time we’re in Thailand.

excellently described. I would add that Tivat has the best microclimate in every sense. Especially enjoyment for families, active vacations and hedonism. Preseason and postseason are the best options. Hiking on the Vrmac, tennis courts, open gym, padel courts, water sports, enjoying resorts, cafes with the most delicious food, beautiful nature. Humane place, according to man. We stayed for a month in Mia Casa apartments, a little separated from the center and yet close (with a view of the bay). Beautiful, spacious, we only hear crickets and enjoy the shade of the kiwi. Tivat, grade 10+
