i just received a text message today and they set me up with a zoom call. right away I went to google to look for reviews and had a feeling that it was fishy and likely going to ask for money. im like how did they even get my number?

I was a writer with REG, lots of rewriting things due to ever expanding scope creep and analysis paralysis. Did it for two years, worked with some nice people but ultimately a waste of time on a product that will never actually exist. No one ever got paid but the government gave the company a few mil for development, pretty wild.

No clue how I fell for that! I’m a lot smarter than that! They said it was a casting call for Stranger Things Season 5! I need a refund

I was animation lead for a while there. Made game rigs and taught other animators how to make them. Also made some promo stuff for their facebook. Myself, and all of the people I instructed, were new college graduates. Razor Edge Games was recommended to me by my college. In my opinion, the game had and has no direction. After the development dragged on and I realized that it was never coming out, I jumped ship, and a lot of people followed after. Being as vague as possible here but it was not a positive experience. It was a learning experience, just not what I’d expected to learn about.

Lol I'm in a zoom meeting now and it just seemed fake when he did the role call and my unique name wasn't even attempted

I joined the zoom meeting, where I realized something didn't fit. I was just trying to be an extra in Law and Order for fun, however in the zoom meeting they sent a link asking for my credit card info, so I stopped it and closed the meeting, everything related to money like that seems suspicious. Before that I gave them my name, email address and phone number. Do I have to be concerned about it? Can they take money from me just with that info? Or they are just going to b0mb me with sms? They keep sending sms and email, saying that there are big opportunities for someone like me.

Had a meeting with them today. Thank goodness I’ve been watching videos. I should have checked before signing up. Where do YOU suggest I go contact to, try and get a real audition?

They asked for money upfront

Did some model and texture work for this game. It was a good stepping stone for me to learn some things before actually stepping into the industry. I was proud of the work I did for it... not sure I can say the same for what's been put out there so far. Never expected to see a paycheck, so I'm not mad that 3 years later I still haven't lol.

Love the voice

Worked with them for 6 months, terrible leadership. Based off of the teaser and gameplay videos that are out there, it just looks like it’s decades behind and is a out of touch concept.
