Even worse, imagine seeing that exact scene, but making an AMV out of it with A Touch Of Class's Around The World song....God that song made me think something sexual, and that's a song from 2000.
It's obviously supposed to be sexual "getting lucky" means to have sex. It's extremely common for people to add sexual innuendos to kids' cartoons unfortunately.
Maybe Prince Wrote this Song for the Girls.

This song has that bouncy, boppy '50's vibe to it, so I think "Getting Lucky" means something other than what we think. Am I incorrect?
Even in the 50’s pop songs were about sex. Not as common as now. But it wasn’t unheard of
In the 80’s, getting lucky didn’t necessarily have to be sex. It could just be dating.
It does. However, I always thought of this as a country-blues tune.
Now that I'm grown up, I can't believe they got away with putting this song in a kids show in the 80s... To their credit, I was way too young to understand the double entendre (for lack of a better term)... I just thought that the snakes really liked listening to them sing, that their voices were calming and charming so the snakes stopped being aggressive... I also saw cartoons which portrayed snake charmers. That's how understood this scene as a little kid. While I understand that parents know better than kids that young, what I also appreciated is that there has to be something to entertain the parents too... we're seeing that trend still, but in different ways, and not as frequent. If I was a parent hearing this, maybe I'd raise a Spockian/People's Eyebrow, but I'd also remind myself that the kids may/will not hear the same things I do.

I always imagined it was Bette Midler. It most closely represented her style and genre.
So why isn't Elenore in most of this scene? Because she's the youngest. Brit and Jeanette are much older. Singing a seductive song and seducing snakes...not something little Ella needs to be doing.

She was saving the baby penguin... Brittany and Jeanette go to get the dolls and Eleanor splits off to go find the baby penguin, so she missed most of the song. When she joins up with them near the end of it, she sings along with them.

In the movie during this scene she was busy trying to put the baby penguin in a cooler.
They’re triplets, so they’re not that far apart age wise, and Eleanor is the most adult acting sister in the group.
Question? Is it just me or are the voices the exact same without exception from the chipmunks? They don't sound any different at all from Alvin Simon and Theodore
Ross Bagdasarian Jr. did Alvin and Simon (and Dave actually). His wife, Janice Karman, did Theodore and all the Chipettes.
Alvin and Simon sound a bit grittier and more masculine. It’s really obvious in Girls of Rock n’ Roll.
Jeanette's singing voice has an little accent and is more honey-coated than her sisters, and is an little less higher
They're voiced by the same voice actress, I mean the Chipettes of course, but their voice actress also voiced Theodore

On 0:33 and 1:25, I thought Eleanor comes on 2:04 when she appears on the movie. 🤨 (Well, *sure* we could hear her and the other 2 singing together, especially on the bridge of the song on 0:58) And the Chipette character, who goes "Oh, honey, honey...", that was Eleanor, not Brittany on the movie.
That was both Eleanor and Brittany at 2:04.

I mean she isn't in the scene, but at times you can definitely tell there are three voices.
