Puck Screen vs Puck Saver
มุมมอง 3.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Have you been wondering what the difference is between the Puck Screen and the Puck Saver? It turns out you're not alone, which is why we made this for you and you and you. In summary, they serve the same purpose, and while you probably only need one or the other, having both on hand will allow you to modulate head space without changing your dose or basket. #puckintegrity #cleanmachine #tastyc...
The New Unifilter
มุมมอง 7K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Our latest timepiece disguised as a portafilter - an update to one of our favorite creations - the Unifilter. In April of 2022, Weber Workshops released a new portafilter for espresso preparation called the Unifilter. This, along with our own Unibasket, changed an industry trend of portafilter basket construction that had lasted close to a century, spawning an entire new product category of “fa...

I’d probably have to take out a second and third mortgage but that’s okay!
The tamper, the wooden one in the previous videos, was better
yo how good this is i need to 🤮
360 GRAMS?!? Bit too damn light in weight, suppose it fits the dainty hands of most enthusiasts.
I should get one so I can tell people I have a Really Nice tamper, and a Decent tamper 😂
Now we just need you guys to come up with a lever espresso machine
this may be the only Weber product that is not drastically overpriced compared to the market. $120 for a premium self leveling taper is actually quite reasonable.
you know, I was about to say the same thing.
Any plans for a version that’s compatible with the Unifilter 49mm?
nothing planned as if yet but have given thought tu it of course
That’s actually a really nice tamper. Silver aluminum as well to match my grinder
Cat.
Was just shopping for a spring loaded tamper 2 days ago and was suprised to see weber didn't have one. Time to order one of these and an unibasket while I'm at it
One question please: Does this tamper also fit sieves from the E61 group? I have the ECM... ... and the second question: can the height or pressure for tamping be adjusted? .
"The tamper base is machined to 58.55mm OD. The precision fit is compatible with most any 58mm basket, fancy or traditional. A 9kg spring is pre-installed, but an easily-swappable 12kg spring is also included for those wanting a little more oomph." check the link in the description.
@@tupsa Thank you for your reply. I am writing from Germany and apologize for my English. Werber Workshops is a great company - I am absolutely delighted. .
Finally! Ordered right away … my Pullman BigStep Lite tamper with 58.5mm diameter wasn’t working well with the Unifilter. Unless it was hot AF and the Unifilter’s metal expanded a little bit, it always got stuck.
you'll have no issues here!
Ordered! Was waiting for it to go live and made it! So excited to add it in to my morning routine.
Awesome, enjoy!
Do I need it? No. But do I want it? YESSSSS!!!!!
And kudos to the production team, the finished video is really top-class.
Thanks for your support!
we'll pass it along. cheers!
Ordered mine today. Want to add to my coffee making gear.
Welcome to the club!
By the looks of it, seems like a tamper. Wonder if it will also feature a wooden handle
If only we could get upgrades for the original key
No idea what this is but I'm sure I'll want it 😂
My new Christmas present ❤
Apologies for the moan, but why does everything have to be done to music.
easier to dance to
Wish there was a Black Friday deal on the bird 😕
A little more conatic and it would be mesmerizing...🤤
Will there be a black friday sale? Love your grinders, especially the EG1
we don't run sales on new and current models but we're working on offering a program to clear out returns and previous models like Mk.1 HG-2 and Key
@ that sounds amazing. When we can except this program? Thank you 🙏🏽
Very nice ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Sick. The subscale is a cool combo add
I want to know more details about the cool scale that appeared earlier.
It’s Subscale Digital Dosing Cup. Awesome
Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford the hg2 but for now it’s just a dream
check our site later today or tomorrow for previous models offered at a huge discount
@@WeberWorkshops Been checking the website and can’t see anything.

What tamper is this?
How many takes that must have took…
literally just a more complicated and worse aeropresso
서울 카페쇼 에서 구할수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다.
I just laughed out loud, after looking at cleaning videos for other grinders look like rocket surgery in comparison
Saw this, liked this, ordered this!
This was actually very helpful as I thought it was just preference
for most, it can be
missed a beautiful opportunity to call it the "screen saver" Although I imagine google search would not like that
Any concerns about using both the puck saver (on top of puck) plus the puck screen (on top of puck saver)? Idea is to use the puck screen to take up headspace, but let the puck saver prevent particles from getting stuck in the puck screen-best of both worlds if headspace permits?
worth testing!
I recently ordered a unibasket which will come with the puck saver. I will test this method out when it arrives
Using both seems to have caused the puck itself to stick to the unibasket more than if I were to just one of the two. It also became a lot harder for coffee to come through the basket, which is to be expected. I don't have the tools to determine extraction, but it definitely made robusta taste more bitter. To me, the puck saver performed better at keeping the shower screen clean. I definitely preferred the puck saver since it was just easier to clean, otherwise, I saw little performance difference between the two.
The voice over in this video is only present on the left channel. A kind of channeling you could say.
Any taste difference?
we don't expect most people will notice any differences... unless your name happens to be Lance ;)

How to effectively clean the thicker puck screen?
@@HaveAGoodHeart I personally use my sonic cleaner to clean out my puck screens every two weeks or so. Rinses and wipe downs between. Another method is steaming the puck screen in a pitcher with a bit of cafiza.
@MWSJoey I will try the second method. Don't own a sonic cleaner yet. Tks so much for your help.
@MWSJoey suggests some of our fav, but you can also get a lot out using the sprayer from you kitchen sink and then putting the filter into small pot with water and bringing to a rolling boil
@@WeberWorkshops puck saver, though easier to clean, but most of them use a thin piece of metal with holes, likely to prevent it from being bent. But I feel those small holes under the non opening part of the metal can't be cleaned effectively. What do you think?
Why not both?
at the same time, or separately?
@WeberWorkshops I'll be honest, it was mostly a joke of using both at the same time. Puck saver to keep the puck screen clean and reduce headspace.
@@MWSJoey gotcha! we've seen people stack screens to fill up head space so...
The worst solution ever used is the thick puck screen.
Finally, the solution to those pesky maintenance-free WDT tools.
Mr Hoffman , they made the the upper lid magnetic.
Can I get a bunch of really expensive weber stuff for free please? Let me know thank you
Diddy must have a side gig doing maintenance to moonrakers.
