@@TheFPLScope Well, since the Liverpool game was postponed, both Rogers and Semenyo got to play. 😂 Benched Semenyo originally, which was probably both a good and bad idea; Rogers played 90 min but blanked. But now that Salah and Gomez were auto-benched, Semenyo and Robinson gets to play. If Gabriel doesn’t play today, Van den Berg gets subbed on. Not expecting much of a green arrow this week, but who knows..!

@ - haha. Not so well. Started with a premium midfield, non Haaland strategy, but faltered after all of those early hat tricks. Used wildcard early and then pretty much changed back to what I had, when City failed to fire. Cost me 20 points- and I’ve been behind by that much most of the year!

@@rayzer610 Mbeumo and Solanke stick out as players you could move on. Maybe something like Amad and Isak/Jackson in for them would make sense? Or potentially Bowen and Evanilson. You'll have a very strong team regardless, with most of the template picks apart from maybe Flekken with tough fixtures. I don't think a GK transfer is worth it though. Saving a transfer (or two) could be good as well, seeing as you don't have any huge pressing issues.

@@rayzer610 Mbeumo if you keep him and possibly VDB and Hall. Solanke also a potential bench if you keep him. If you do two transfers, then probably bench Rogers like I am, but feels like most predictors think he starts for Villa.

@@rayzer610 My loyalty to Rogers knows no bounds, so I'm sticking with him, but the penalties are definitely in Mbeumo's favor. All depends how good and fresh Villa are, but Mbeumo has a better xMins for the game too, so it's a pretty even choice. Solanke could be back from illness and be a good choice too. I'd probably go with him if there's an indication he starts.

I saw you had an absolutely amazing GW, almost made it to manager of the week, congrats. Keeping Strand Larsen definitely was the best move. You're in a really good position. Gonna try to make the GW19 Wildcard Draft video early in the week.

Sounds like a really really good team. TAA is intriguing and now a cool differential, but not a must by any means. Isak is supposedly back for the game against Liverpool. I think he'll come good soon enough. Semenyo can step in for him this GW. West Ham hopefully going on to better things. Arsenal was always gonna be tough.

@@TheFPLScope Yeah, really can't decide whether to bench Isak or Rogers this week. Rogers has BRE (H), but Villa hasn't been very good lately. And I'm not sure Isak has what it takes to score on Liverpool in his current form, but who knows. He, like Haaland and most other forwards like him, are very reliant on getting service, and Liverpool looks very good at shutting down those angles atm. Haaland barely touched the ball in that game. Semenyo is rested and playing a defensively reduced Tottenham, so I'm tempted to play him over both of them. TAA is very tempting. Can't afford him yet, but I'm planning to get Gomez for Aina next GW, and after collecting transfers I'm thinking maybe to go Aït-Nouri, Semenyo and Isak for Trent, Raúl and Eze when all their fixtures turn in GW 18/19, but that plan might change. The Hub also loves both my current team and my planned changes, giving me a 100% team rating and GW-ratings of 95% or above for the next 10 GW or so. 😅 Not basing too much on that, but it's nice to see the algorithm agrees with me.

@ConfusedLynx Would definitely play Semenyo and I think I'd stick with Rogers too. Isak has a decent track record against Liverpool, but hasn't faced Slot's Liverpool yet. You're in a great position, so all the best luck to you 😊

Probably Smith-Rowe at this point, back the home game. That said, Mbeumo could all of a sudden get a penalty or something, but he hasn't looked good lately.

@@StashDaDon Fair enough. I'm kinda 50/50 on Jackson vs Isak, but I'm at least sold 100% on Jackson, so it's fine to do the transfer. 1 yellow away from suspension though.

I think I would wait a week to do it for free, but I wouldn't be totally against it either. Depends how good Man Utd are really and if Saka is a must already. Trying to deal with that question myself as well. Gvardiol has a decent fixture this GW and Hall gets good fixtures next week onwards, so I feel like it makes sense, but it all comes down to Saka and if going without him will keep punishing you.

At worst Lewis won't be much worse than any of the other 4.5 type defenders, assuming he keeps his place. Do you think there's a chance he gets dropped?

@ I don’t think he gets dropped/not started until Rodri and Kova are back

@@kse7en496 We've all been there and had a rank we weren't happy about. I ended up outside the 1 million in my final rank only 2 seasons ago, but then got my revenge with a top 10k finish last season. We have about 70% left of the season, a lot can happen.

@@Michaelkaydee As long as Lewis keeps his place, I just don't see that much upside. Most defenders suck this season and I feel like there's more value in keeping my transfers. That said, Lewis keeps collecting 0 pointers, so I've practically been playing with 10 men anyway 😋

@@Martin-dl8hc I'm definitely one that wants him in a 10 role, as Summerville has played really well lately. Kudus is an amazing player, but hasn't had a great season. If picking a West Ham player I want the safety of Bowen personally and would probably look for someone cheaper if I couldn't afford Bowen. That being said, Kudus could easily be a great differential if he returns to last season's form. It just comes down to your risk appetite.

I wouldn't really get much funds from it, so probably not. I don't like my goalkeepers, but I just gotta stick it out I guess.

Haha, yeah. I was taught a valuable lesson there. At least I ended up starting Cunha. Not the best gameweek, but not a complete horror show either.

No, you didnt influcence the Cunha benching 😅, I felt Rogers would have done better as it was a home fixture for him vs an away fixture for Cunha againt what seem to be a decent Fulham defense. Silly me. And yes, I know I do have to ease up on taking hits, I took another -4 to move out Trent late to Colwill this week before his price drop after using my free transfer earlier in the week for Lewis to Hall before Hall price rise.. Made 0.2 from Lewis. This time I played the two new men... With all the transfers made, I guess I have been too focused on capturing price rise, selling players for profits and gaining team value after loosing value in gw1. But I will ease up now🙏. @Anton_Mohan Good to hear. Catching price rises is nice and will benefit you later in the season, but usually you should wait to do transfers until later in the week so you have more info. Good luck for the rest of the season 😊

I probably wouldn't. Not a huge fan of the -4s this season. If you do/did, then I would bench Solanke most likely, but I don't think he's the worst guy to start either with City struggling defensively.

@@rayzer610 Probably Johnson for me. Just feel like there's a small chance he doesn't start, but haven't looked properly into it. Double up on Spurs just seems a bit much, despite how bad City have been lately.
