I love making lettuce wraps - such a great, healthy dish because you can switch up ingredients for variety. The book sounds exciting! My first NHL game in person was when your husband was with VGK, and I remember him bumping into the boards at warmups to make the kids next to me shriek and giggle. :) Thank you for the videos - I've enjoyed them a lot.

Assuming this was in Seattle in early December, Palat scored and went +1 the next day so he must really have liked the meal. Great video, your channel is the perfect intersection of my interests (hockey, world cuisine and wine). It's great to see a different side of the players and hear them talking about random things. Good luck with your channel! Hope you can get more Devils on in the future too.

Always look forward to these videos... you and Belly make a great team and love to see everyone share stories and try new foods. Hopefully home-made ice-cream will make another appearance even if your old faithful machine finally gave up ! It was wild to me that Czech culture really goes all-out drinking shots for newborn baby's health - great story!

It’s a sweet Lambrusco! A sparkling red wine from northern Italy! 😃 It’s great with chocolate, as well as coffee-flavored desserts, and are also great with a charcuterie plate!

Unfortunately, none of the guys have responded that hot wings are their favorite food…. yet! 😄
FYI Montreal's smoked meat sandwich is actually with rye bread not sourdough and what makes it unique to Montreal is the spice mix and the way it's cook, I believe Schwartz's steams and smokes it for very long amount of time, more than 72 hours in total I think.

@jennafhenderson Every single swede (except me) puts ketchup on their pasta and meat sauce (and sometimes on plain pasta too). So, yes, I knew this, simply because he's Swedish hahah!

Such a fun group of friends together for dinner - really enjoyed this one with everyone joking around. Hope the homemade apple pie makes it into the recipebook ! Also found it sweet Grubi's mum drew pictures on his pencils to help him tell the colours apart when he was a kid.
For sure the Apple pie will be in the cookbook!! 😃🥧 (along with many other pies from Canadian players 😅)

As a finn I must say grilled sausages and those, especially finnish, small fresh potatoes in the early summer are just amazing. It might sound weird to people from many other countries but something as simple as a good fresh potato combined with just salt and butter is for me at least better than any type of candy any day! The season for those in Finland is very short and we really love our fresh potatoes. Also the summer and grilling season is short and we have a huge variety of susages which are just to die for. I'm not even gonna start with the pickled herring (especially in mustard sauce) which we love to eat with the potatoes as well. 😅
Scandinavian food! 😍 The Färskpotatis season just ended here for us, so sad! 😋 Can't wait for next year! Have you guys had good BBQ weather over in Finland, here in northern Sweden it hasn't been super warm.

I loved watching your video. Very informational and fun to see. My favorite food is homemade pasta with alfredo sauce, I have been playing with my alfredo recipe to make it exactly what I like. After I learned to make homemade pasta, I have a difficult time going back to the box noodles. I have been experimenting with adding thin sliced asparagus, fresh cracked black pepper and a little powdered lemon zest into the pasta and it is out of this world with the alfredo and some grilled shrimp.
@wendirodewals2676 That's SO crazy! That's exactly what Pierre makes me for my birthday every year!!! He created that dish for my birthday like 10 years ago because I LOVE lemon zest & asparagus, and alfredo is my absolut favorite! Sometimes the shrimp are part of the starter, and sometimes with the pasta. Exactly like yours! 😃 AMAZING!

Yes, this was last season in Tampa. The guys featured in the cookbook are only in the same city as Pierre and I 1-2 evenings per year 😅 So in order to test all the recipes with the guys we’ve been working on the book for a little over a year now! 😊

Spicy Lobster...Lobster Fra Diavolo. It's the good stuff and my nonno (grandfather) made it extra spicy. It was great to see Moose and Nate in bromance mode.
