Welcome to the Sacramento Valley. We hope you’re surprised and excited by what you discover here. Even after a lifetime, those of us who call the Valley home are amazed by its stunning beauty, thrilled by its wildlife and reassured by the character of its people.
We understand that it’s up to us to be responsible caretakers of this place. We’re in the habit of seeing what’s needed and getting it done. Especially when it comes to water, the lifeblood of our cities and towns, economy, recreation, wildlife and wild places.
This page is a joint effort of the Northern California Water Association and the California Rice Commission. Our alliance is a perfect example of the work that’s needed to preserve and protect this exceptional place. Please join us.

Some salmon have different spawning grounds why move them…
It is sad that in America the soft (pink) outer skin (the hull) of pistachios nuts are thrown away, while they make for the most delicate, fragrant marmalade of royal quality!
I wanna eat em!!
@0:15 bros getting nut blasted
so cool 👍
If they could engineer a system to take excess water and pump it back into Aquafiers that would replenish depleted ground water or even let it drain to mexico instead of letting it go to the ocean. There will come a day they wished they would have.
Does that contraption damage the tree at all??
Want to help the Salmon and Steelhead population more? I sure do! Butte Creek is a beautiful special watershed... Place a bounty on the American Pike Minnows ( aka Squawfish) and remove the size limit on Striped bass... 50 years fishing Feather River low flow and 30 fishing Butte Creek ...
Picked a peachy noun
Next stage
Excellent video and production that documents an impressive collaborative success. Well done!
Are you open this year 2023
Build Sites, but it is not enough! Do this also: There is 11 times more water in The Columbia River. IT is easy to move 1 or 2 "Colorado Rivers", down to Red Bluff. No pumps are needed! CA`s water problem are fixed forever!!!

🛐🙏😭Heavenly Father JesusGod, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! In Jesus Mighty God's holy name, Amen!" 💗❤❤💞This Gospel message if you continue to believe this message, you will be saved: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried , that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time,

Please tell me a good literature on sunflower irrigation. Years of the 70-90-ies of the 20th century
Hello everyone my name is Timothy L. Wellington as Seasonal Fish & Wildlife Tech during 1990 thr 2002. Great job your doing at Nimbus Hatchery
California so desperately needs this!
I’d love if we met them wild spawn. And didn’t sell the meat
👍👍👍
Can you tell us where this was located
Only reason they use water is because the law requires it they used to burn it all and it would go through the creek the skies used to be dark with smoke
Flowing like a toilet!
Love it, Joel
👍
Tell me this water won't be for Los Angeles. If it is, I don't approve. They need to work on water independence. They just rejected the proposed Huntington Beach desalination plant. Stop the LA urban sprawl until you have your own water.
What about American river spring runners no one ever talks about them come on guys
of course the whites murdered the native Americans to get that land don't forget to say that!
Do you have firefighters discounts?
I love this video - if the Sacramento Valley TH-cam/Facebook needs anyone to produce content, I'd love to help!
Wow 😋🤤
What about all the Salmon that died in Butte Creek last summer and nobody cared about them?
Of course you don’t show the town or my grandparents house. This reservoir won’t do anything for you. I pray all the water you pump soaks into the ground and stays there.
