a beautiful rendition of a beautiful song feat. random pictures of graham and robin robin covering my favorite graham nash tune thank you mr. pecknold i don't own the music or pictures please don't sue me
God this is good :')
Here's another acoustic cover that just blows me away. Great job. I'm attempting to listen to all of the covers of this song that I can find today. Hehehehe. Why yes I am a nutcase thank you please.
Gene Parsons, Elvis Costello, Gene Clark to name a few
Thanks
Beautiful.
anybody know the tuning for this?
D standard
he took some time to write a play! joshua got a couple albums in! Robyn is back! hes doing some arcade shit. a lot of people performing for the new recording.
Fantastic cover, thank you for posting...
VAI TOMA NO CU QUEM DEU DESLIKE
@tobi-arah great song dude
This is really beautiful. The original is already very heartfelt and I didn't think it could be improved on, but I think Jim James might have actually managed it. He knows how to strip songs down to their very essence.
Once of the greatest classic folk songwriters. I like covering "Teach Your Children" :-)
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
mushroom stroodle
jesus.. its like you can hear the emotion in his voice.. i love it
Hearing this for the first time at a friend's house jamming on his old record player was something I will always remember.
Nice job by Jim. This is just one of the many beautiful songs by Gram Parsons. If you haven't experienced Gram, you should do it now. I would also recommend listening to Gene Clark's cover of Hot Burrito #1. His is a very heartfelt version too.
Gene's cover is best ever, although this cover is great, Gene just has a haunting, wistful element
I didn't like Gene's cover. It was just too put on. Besides this one, the Black Crows version is great. Great cover Dude. I'm attempting to listen to all of the covers of this song that I can find today. Hehehehe. Why yes I am a nutcase thank you please.
Wonderful.
Sometimes break ups are slooooow too.... Think that might be the tone he was going for with this cover...
A tasteful rendition indeed.
this is beautiful cover of GP's song, thnx for uploading
Jim hits it on the head on this #, lovely...
the master of covers
LOVE IT!
@Cilogy It's all Robin. He recorded multiple vocal tracks. Same thing he does with White Antelope.
most beautiful thing i ever did hear
Why is the pickup installed diaganaly on his acoustic at the beginning
This is nice but it is waaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooooow.
Nostalgia and slooooow country as GP said
Equal parts of haunting and beautiful
WHERE IN THE HELL DID YOU FIND THIS?!?! THANK YOU!
this ep was made for vinyl. the sound is beautiful
... You're listening to it on TH-cam tho
@@moonandantarctica2 okay, duh.
more please!
thanks so much
I have a 4 disc set of nothing but live MMJ/Yim covers and this one is my favorite.
Can you email me- tim_layton@yahoo.com
@abcdface its on itunes
to answer all questions. i got the song from the graham nash tribute album "be yourself", i made the video from random pictures i fond, and on the album notes it says all instruments by robin, the vocals are him too. i suggest everyone get into graham nash - "songs for beginners", "wild tales" and of corse crosby, stills, and nash. in my opinion, graham's versions are better than the tributes.
yeah how's you get this dude? awesome!
whoa! where'd this come from???!!! This is great!
