self diagnosis is valid, IF DONE CORRECTLY. Not anyone has access to a professional diagnosis, and some things (e.g. autism) get misdiagnosed VERY often. (I was once literally just masking and my psychologist said (after 10 minutes of meeting me) „well i don’t think you‘re autistic you don’t seem like it, we’re even having eye contact!“)
