Yes it's smoother than Windows computers. As always, apple experience.
The base M2 has a real flaw. But people don't buy them like hotcakes because it's a bad decision. The M1 is the greatest piece of tech i have ever bought, and I got the same satisfaction with all my new apple devices : iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Macbook. The only thing bad with Apple products, is none of them can be experienced for the first time again.
