    unless you've actively had an evil mother in law trying to break up your relationship and have a whole smear campaign on you to everyone you both know and others you dont know, than you wouldnt understand why you would cut off this kind of a person. they dont deserve respect

    My mother in law over steps her boundaries. I came home after surgery and she totally disrespected me. I lived in her house to help her and now she lives with us. She put me out of her house twice so, now, she lives in my house and she’s gotta go.

    • @AkuaAgyemang
      @AkuaAgyemang 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, with this instance, she has to go. I wouldn’t advise to live with in-laws. A visit is fine, but to stay, NO

    Tips for those interested to become a DN. 1- be aware that patient house is their house, you can’t open curtains or turn the light on without their permission, in case you can’t see your notes, help yourself. 2- smoke and holders be aware that you may need to work around of trash because some houses is not cleaned 🧹 at all. 3- you work by yourself without a colleague to you to ask questions. 4- you will need to drive a LOT, and your car will be undervalued because of the mileage. 5- your car is not your car anyone, it will be with a lot of mess that you need to work. 6- be aware you will turn to patient house and they will probably be on the floor, or even deceased. You will have to sort out by yourself. 7- paper work is never end, you will always have something to do out of work hours. Overall is an okay ish job. Good luck for those interested, you will need.

    Hi. Sister. I am newly qualified nurse in the UK. Is it okay to work in community nursing if I have the plan to have a child in a year? As this job involves a lot of bend and drive, is it safe to do so during pregnancy?

      I’m so sorry I’m just seeing your message. Yes it involves bending but I have a small foldable chair that I sit on when working. I’ll advise you carry one with you. Yes it’s safe for pregnancy

    I really tried with my MIL but she has shown me that she only sees me as a tool to better her circumstances. I've put up with snide and rude comments, her barging into my and my husband's life (to live with us when we were first married, she emigrated countries after her divorce to come and crash our new relationship), and now I'm helping her with getting her residency, yet she does not try to speak or learn English in an English-speaking country, she calls me without warning over and over whenever she needs something, very rarely contacts me to see how I'm doing or ask for my family's wellbeing. She is selfish and completely self-interested, self-absorbed and has made it incredibly clear to me what she thinks of me, she only uses me for her benefit. When my husband tells her that she is in the wrong she acts like she is dumbfounded, she "doesn't understand" and offers me half-apologies with no heart. She's been in multiple relationships and marriages over the years, and I highly doubt she would ever help out any of her past ex-MILs the way I have with her. I've been incredibly generous and kind to her and she treats me like scum. The only reason I am kind to her and want to help is because I love my husband and I know that since this is the only relative that is closest to him, that it means a lot to him. But every day I hate my MIL more and more. I'm going to go to therapy and work on myself because I can't live with this hatred, but I hope karma teaches her a lesson. Going forward I am only going to respond to her in a very formal way, I do not want to be close with her whatsoever.

    Hi sis, is a community nurse same as a public health nurse or health visitor?

    • @AkuaAgyemang
      @AkuaAgyemang ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello hun, no they’re not the same. Health visitors are specifically trained for children. They take over from the midwives after a baby is born till they become adult. Community nurses are just regular nurses who deliver care in people’s own home instead of a care setting or hospitals. Public health nurses are normally specialised nurses in the area of sexual health or health protection. They do not necessarily visit people at home to deliver nursing care. They’re more into educating the public through awarenesses. Both nurses and midwives can train to become health visitors and public health nurses but only nurses can become community/district nurses.
