This version of the Bloodline is also boring. I didn't care to see Hunico back.....When OG Bloodline return together WITH PAUL HEYMAN at WarGames I might start to give a damn about the story again. I'm not sure guaranteed contracts are bad in general because when you paid per show, well it seems like half the wrestlers were dead by age 50 during the vaunted "attitude" era and well, well beyond (just ask Orton about that POS Vince McMahon); and we're not even talking about the steroid ridden wrestlers littering the cards well into the precious attitude era. It was a huge grind and that really only changed when AEW showed up, sorry to tell you that mates. WWE/WWF always was and always has been corporate garbage that was an attempt at monopolizing the business and they succeeded in doing so ruining wrestling for decades including their own product.

When you factor in that the big contracts for WCW wrestlers was not on the books for WCW but on Turner entertainment there is no way AEW is going to be more profitable. Unless TK is paying the wrestlers out of his own pocket so he can show AEW is making money.

The absolute shocker for me (and youtube views absolutely confirm it) is that the Okada match bombed and bombed bad. I actually watched the match and felt like Okada tried with the up and coming Fletcher who has trimmed down and improved his look. I felt like it was the best AEW Okada match I've seen by far, and it BOMBED. Clearly he's poisoned the entire audience since coming to AEW. Shocking. On youtube views AEW Dynamite from one week ago absolutely destroyed Smackdown from two days later which I've never seen before. In one week Smackdown goes to the USA network (and leaves the hated Fox which was censoring their best stuff before Heyman left), so the upcoming USA Smackdown shows should be great for FOG to analyze. Of particular interest and likely to fall flat is LIVE Collision tonight up against the hapless Smackdown on their last day on Fox. I'm not sure I'll want to watch either due to US Open Semi-finals (the tennis stadium where AEW does "Grand Slam" in a week or so), but I REALLY want to watch the carnage and would watch Collision first and them dump back and forth based on what grabbed my eye. Useless Yuta and Orange Cassidy I just can't stand right now and I hate three way matches so good chance I watch a lot of the final FOX Smackdown which is likely to be extremely bad.

He admitted Tony Khan is paying him for nothing basically. He wants to wrestle Omega. Just take a legends deal from WWE already.

So he is going to come back to be a giant jobber.

Stevie Richards?🤣 He's way worse than even Orange Cassidy who I hate. While were on stupid, I'll give Mariah May credit for doing the best Nyla Rose match by far I've seen this year (ever for me), but that was a massive youtube bomb and just really a stupid ratings move by Tony Khan. Yeah this is all fake and also wrestling is the venue for this type of competition, but absolute ratings poison. If they're trying to bury (the very impressive) Mariah May they are doing a great, great job. Well done match by both I suppose, but clearly bad for business. I guess if you're rich you do these things, but then don't whine when Warner Brothers pulls out on a renewal.

It’s pretty simple why TKhan is dopey enough to make that statement. Since he has unlimited funds from his daddy, he only looks at the money AEW has earned and never applies the money it’s lost. So in his mind since his daddy’s money is unlimited he’s never taken a loss. So he’ll just keep adding up the earned income over time and claim AEW is the 2nd most profitable promotion ever. But it’s all a farce bc other companies factor their earnings less their expenses. Also, other companies had to rely on their profits to stay in business which AEW does not.
