I am considering my very first cabbing machine, and I’ve come down to 2 brands. Cab King and Kingsley North. I have a question about the cab king. I plan to work mainly with Opal, and I’m wondering if there is a rabbit hair compressed felt pad available for the right side for final polishing with cerium oxide ? Does cab king have that available ?

I only use distilled water in mine. I also utilize tge water from my dehumidifier, capture it and then filter it again prior to use.

looks plastic, wonder about durability, other companies are using solid metal aluminum.. and at comparable or lower prices.. will have to do more research before deciding which brand of cabbing machine is best

What about the right and left water nozzles? The right hand nozzle quit on me in the middle of using. It’s not the pump and all other water nozzles are working properly.

How long does the cab king last? I’m worried wth only 1 year warranty that it will break down

That screw facing the camera appears to require a flat tip screwdriver. Seems you believe in Kaizen so if that doesn’t offer enough torque (otherwise why would you use pliers to hold it?) you should change it so you can use a traditional bolt wrench on it.

We've used a 6" CabKing at our rock club since 2015. We finally were able to save up for our own machine! It will be here Tuesday!
