Chopin - Funeral March (Score)
Chopin's Funeral March is one of his most iconic compositions, formally the third movement of his Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 35.
Composed in 1837, this somber and deeply evocative piece is characterized by its mournful, steady rhythm and dramatic, grief-laden melody.
Its powerful opening theme contrasts with a lyrical, almost consoling middle section before returning to its solemn main motif.

I wrote this arrangement trying to stay as faithful as possible to the sound of the original orchestral version of this piece. I tried my best to emulate the timbres of the respective instruments on the piano, despite the various limitations. Yeah, it does sound easy, but getting the right sound is actually so difficult. I can't deny that I've spent some days just trying to record it😅

Wow, davvero bella interpretazione! Anch'io ho suonato questo pezzo di recente, ed è sempre bello vedere come ognuno porti qualcosa di personale nella musica di Chopin. Hai davvero catturato la sua essenza!
Grazie mille! Vedo già molti commenti (in altri video su questo waltz) di persone che criticano il modo in cui questo waltz viene suonato, dicendo che Chopin vada suonato in un'altra maniera. Io invece concordo pienamente sul fatto che ogni interpretazione è unica, e in quanto artisti, dobbiamo metterci il nostro tocco personale (ovviamente sempre mantenendo quanto più integra possibile la visione del compositore). Ho ascoltato la tua interpretazione, mi piace il tempo che hai scelto, complimenti!

Beautiful song and nicely played! When I listen to piano music like this it inspires me to continue playing the piano. I am new at piano, but have composed a few songs now. My first song is called "Two Moons Apart" and is on youtube. I hope to make great piano music one day. Maybe someone will have time to listen to my song. I hope it sounds at least relaxing :)

Well, technically it's "recently discovered", but that would've been too long of a title lol. By undiscovered, I mean that it was undiscovered for ≈200 years, up until some days ago.
