ScholarCHIPS, Inc. is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization, founded by Yasmine "YazzieSpeaks" Arrington in 2010, with the mission to provide college scholarships, mentoring, mental health support, and a support network to children of incarcerated parents [college-bound young adults], encouraging them to complete their college education. Since 2012, ScholarCHIPS has supported 88 scholars, now with 40 college graduates. Many ScholarCHIPS alumni go on to pursue advanced degrees and careers in various industries - information technology and computer systems, law, medical careers, dentistry, communications, social entrepreneurship and so much more!
