Crafty Builds: Warhammer 40K Space Marine/Boba Fett Mashup
I decided to create a Boba Fett inspired Warhammer 40K Space Marine from a McFarlane Toys 7 inch tall vinyl figure. Sorry for such a long delay on the final video. Thanks so much for being patient with me. Sometimes a lot of things in life take priority over the things we would like to do, but even just taking a small amount of time out each day for the things we enjoy doing can be rewarding. This video shows how I take a regular action figure and create a custom MOTU Trap Jaw figure. It usually takes me a few days to create one simply because of the cure time of the Apoxie Sculpt. You are correct! I would have a difficult time making a convincing bottomless abyss, so I opted to make a filthy moat. Lol!😂
Do ever make your own Sculptying Tools
Not very often. I usually just buy inexpensive sculpting tools online or at my local craft and hobby store.

I use to work in a dental office and my dad made the crowns and dentures .. so I can say with some amount of authority that you did a great job on those molars!

I wish I was that talented. How much you spent in materials ? I need to make a 1/6 scale one for a backdrop.
I’ll have to check for the exact amount. Prices have changed due to inflation. Off the top of my head, I probably spent between $100 to $120 total in today’s economy. I think the most expensive material I used was the clear resin for the moat.

I have a couple of other projects with videos in the works, but I’m definitely going to circle back to the custom figurines. I’d also love to make some custom Thundercats, Silverhawks, and maybe even a custom Voltron build. There’s so much I want to do, but not enough time to do it. Lol!
