My (Not so) Incredible Journeys - Part One
มุมมอง 986 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello! You look lovely today... Seems obvious to say, but part of being an Agoraphobic is the inability to go out and about with ease. At one point I was in a single room for months as the other rooms seemed way to far to even attempt. Thankfully I'm not as bad as all that now and I've been doing regular 15 - 20 minute return journeys in the car (ah... cars, that's for a later video!). In this ...
An apology!

My Agoraphobia Story: Part One - The Morning Of
มุมมอง 1136 ปีที่แล้ว
In 2000/1 I woke up on a pretty normal morning with a pretty abnormal feeling, the feeling that going outside would be the end of me and everything I knew. What followed was 18 years of confusion, suffering and anxiety that changed every aspect of my life, from how I worked to my personality. This is the story of that journey and in this video I'll start right back at the beginning and explain ...
My Agoraphobia Story: Episode One - An Introduction to Anxiety
มุมมอง 1056 ปีที่แล้ว
After living with Agoraphobia for 18 years I've decided it's time to document my process towards recovery and discuss my history of anxiety disorders and how it has affected me and the people around me. I intend this to be a group discussion and not just me talking at you, with this in mind please feel free to comment and get involved. I'm very open about my past and the affect having an anxiet...

Thanks dude. If I can work out something positive from the last 18 years related to anxiety then I'm going to grab it balls first!

It's great to see someone like you tackling these issues in such an open, honest and upfront manor. Mental health should never be a taboo subject or something that people feel too embarrassed or shy to talk about. I hope your videos inspire more people to talk about and share both their positive and negative experiences.

That's all I can hope for mate. It's frankly disgusting that in this day and age, mental health still takes a back seat to any other health issue. If you break your arm, you get more support from law and the health service than if you suffer from an often crippling anxiety disorder. Cheers for the support Squidy
