I had lots of problems filming this video which turned out to be pretty hysterical.
Thank you ❤.
That's awesome!!
The Long Velcro strap is designed to be unsnapped from around the handle and wrapped around the sheath, then snapped in back, out of the way, allowing the draw w/o slicing the strap. Or so i surmise. A most useful mode when a quick draw w/o damage is desired. Signifies readiness to the initiated, sort of a hammer strap slipped of a revolver hammer, ready... ☆
You sound like one of them hosers from the Great White North, eh. Are you from Tronno?
This knife is absolute trash. Soft steel, poorly constructed. Cannot take a beating. I regretfully confess that they also sucked me into buying this worthless piece of trash.
That thing is cool. Tractor supply gets me every time with these kinds of impulse buys.😂
A lot of people think if you pay a lot for the items they are better, I use a tool for what it was made for, chopping I use an AX or hatchet, for slashing or stabbing I use a knife, the blade does not have to be thick, just sharp, I have a Schrade bowie, I rounded the handle and put a edge on it, IT WORKS, I also carry a pistol that cost under 300 dollars it works just fine. SHTF and you got what you got make it work.
Knives should come in a box; not that cheap plastic shit! That doesn't say much for the knife company!
$16.50 in tarboro no.. still wondering about the cancer warning ⚠️?
Why does the package say warning cancer and reproductive harm?
😜 "PromoSM"
I had a rivet break on hatchet . I replaced it and the other original one broke . I didnt like the handle because on hatchet because your hands would get pinched between metal and handle because handle was to thin . I replace handle with black palm wood handle and drilled a third hole and put 3 stainless pins in it . Works great now with now pinch of your skin and looks great . I had no other issues with the set and still gets used every year .
Yo quiero un a cuánto cuestan 😮😮
Cool video bear mcman
Thanks Bear McMan👍🏻
No problem 👍 I know you are a big fan and are definitely going to run to Walmart and use this hack 😉
12 *gram* CO2 cartridge .. not 12 grain.
No Like... Lame vid... Lazy, bro. Go test it camping or hiking.
hello mate, i see you are a knife expert, so i have a question. I have a winchester knife set. It comes with wooden box with magnet, and there are a knife and big fork for steak i guess. I can’t find it on internet. Can you help me with recognizing the price of this set?
Cabelas had these on sale a couple of years ago at half price. So I bought 2 for the price of one. They come on a bubble pack as you showed. This is why I like a box and hate bubble packs. The one knife was a hundred percent okay. But the other one came with a loose guard. I haven't fixed it as of yet. I was planning on removing the handle and replacing it with something else. That way it will look like an entirely different knife. Schrade makes a lot of other blades. I also have the Leroy Bowie. But for a big Bushcrafter knife I bought a SCHF52. Good video on this knife, haven't seen anyone else review this knife. It's definitely a worthwhile purchase of a classic style Bowie Knife.
Sad to see you stopped uploading hope your doing alright
What’s the intro music?
Yo
Just found one on a walk. Handle a little bent. Blade doesn't lock....Not sharp enuff to cut butter. lols
grind down the handle edges, resharpen the blade an tang, mine works great, handle feels good.
Thanks for the advice👍
I'm missing my favorite TH-camr. I hope all is well with you. Should I mail you something to review? I don't care if you just make a video telling what you've been up to. Wishing you a blessed and happy summer
I bought one today, I got it for $12, on the back of my case it says alpha beta and Delta Delta's highlighted on mine it's just a straight Black sheath with a green handle it's not a rubber handle like the camillus titanium that I have which I really like that rubber grip on the chemical titanium it's great all I use my camera titanium for is skinning animals and preparing game and also for food prep cutting vegetables meats etc I don't use it for any utilitarian uses, so I bought this mini machete as just like a bigger version for that. Basically I plan on using it for delimbing things, not trees, and for cutting bigger food articles like watermelons and bigger things like that big ass sweet potatoes etc big squash you know just whenever I need bigger blade. Because I got it at such a good price point if it doesn't work out in any way which I'm sure it'll be just fine I'll just gift it to someone, but I think it'll be perfect for chopping a watermelon or you know honeydew or something like that up or butchering some big old slabs of meat or something, perhaps cutting rotisserie chickens and halves and you know stripping their appendages or rabbits or whatever have you. Edited to say I typed this using voice to text so take it how you want it. My grammar f***** up and my spelling likely to, but that's why.
Haven't seen you in a while. Hope all is well
When’s the next video dropping
Good question lol I've been really busy. Life is hectic. 😁
th-cam.com/video/6gspEVFS9-w/w-d-xo.html its neither full tang nor special hardened... Its made in china with mold injection metal (M.I.M.) techique... Simply crap
Where I live black bears are the killers in the mountains. People underestimate bears . I've had several close calls . A bear will run away from you like his ass is on fire , but , 9 out of 10 times they will circle back around you , and watch you. They are assessing you. If they think you're a cripple , handicapped ,or easy pickings they will crawl toward you and at 30 to 40 yards . Blast out after you . between 5-10 seconds you'll have a 300 to 500 lb bear trying to put wings on you. A bear can out run a horse , so flight is not an option. A bowie can kill a bear with one stab to the ribs or one blow to the nose. Going for a gun isn't smart because you have to do major damage fast. To a wild animal a knife does #5 times the damage of a pistol round. That's major damage fast. Usually the bear will flee and die from blood loss. Not so with a pistol. Hitting a bear in the nose will also make it run instantly as well. Far easier to hit it with a hawk or Bowie than a bullet. People have become brainwashed that guns do everything . The reason knives were so very important in the old days. Is they did massive damage to humans and animals. And were affordable vs a gun. The Bowie was invented because of one simple reason. Flintlocks and muzzleloaders were very slow to reload , and a deadly backup was often needed . Guns and bullets were very expensive , nothing like today. Many sheriff's and deputy's were supplied a gun and ammo by the town . Because your average Joe couldn't even afford the ammo. Hollywood has stretched the truth so badly , everyone believes every settler had a pistol and a lever action rifle . When in fact 1 out of 10 households had #1 old flintlock. That's how rare they actually were. During the civil war it was against the law to own or posses a gun. And that was on both sides. Hollywood has people believing anything and everything. Peace.
Well this is not the old days and my 44mag with 350 grain +p + hard cast buffalo bore is moving at 1425 fps with 1533 ft lbs of energy that will turn him a flip and just maybe inside out lol 😆 don't get me wrong I like my knifes I have that same knife and a damm good kukrie
@@jamesjohnson4163 If you ever get the opportunity or chance to go to Africa or Alaska on a big game hunt, you'll find 99% of the guides, carrying a bowie or kukri in addition to their 44 mag. Very few carries auto's almost everyone I've ever seen has a wheel gun. The nose is the magic spot on a bear or lion. I have the super Blackhawk and the super Redhawk. and carry them exclusively on big game hunts. But I always carry regular 240 hard casts. Simple is always better. A 44 mag does it without the need for exotic rounds. I shot a hyena close too close. It spun in a circle #3 times and flopped. Dead as a doornail. And anyone will tell you they are the toughest animal in Africa. Their bite is stronger than a lion and full of dead rotted meat. People fear them more than lions. Peace.
I've been hunting in Alaska and manatoba Canada hell I live in East Tennessee in the Appalachian mountains I'm not saying I know it all but after sixty years I've picked up quite a bit while in the woods I prefer packing my bisley ruger an my kukri along with my 30 06 hell my edc is a 2in 357mag I have many automatics and wheel Guns I prefer wheel guns but I do pocket carry a double stack 9mm for backup. Happy hunting
@@jamesjohnson4163 I live in the Blue Ridge mountains of Va. Unfortunately, we had a Bigfoot stroll into camp one night. A 9mm just doesn't cut it anymore while in the woods. It's a 44 mag always and forever. I wish it had never happened; I wish I had never seen it. It changed all of us. And not for the better. We all know who the boss of the woods is now. If you could buy hand grenades, I'd be carrying them too. It's one thing to hee-haw and have fun about them. Till you actually are less than than 10 feet from one. Scariest things you will ever see. And they are very real. Peace.
It’s 1 10 lbs
Goodlooking knife. For a piece of crap . Not a full tang. Dime size chunk broke out of blade
Can I edit for u?
mines got a way darker grip
Must be a different wood 😃
The look on the blade is called a stone wash finish. Metal dosnt have fibers
Awesome thanks 👍
Leather sheath would look so much better
A agree 100%
Who else has this gun and it leaks?
Not me 👍
Where is the Schrade Old Timer Bowie made, and do you know what steel it is
I have no idea. This video was made along time ago 😁
I like the sound of the lawn mower in the background. Also, metal does not have fiber.
The lawn mower is my neighbour he cuts his grass almost everyday🤣 thanks the blade has a strange look to it
Okay folks a little interjection intervention here. For starters.... This is the Winchester Double Barrel knife. It's made from stainless steel, instead of cold steel. Hilt guard is made from stainless steel, and of course the handle is made from Zebra Wood. It's held together with pins on the handle with a Winchester plate label. In my opinion it's a descent knife, handles well in the hand, and has a good edge. Weight of course is a bit hefty in the handle, but again helps in handling. Blade temperance is not going to be the best being as a "bushcrafting" knife where folks try to cleave and chop wood and so on with it. Listen folks, you want to bush wack with a blade? Get a Kukuri or Machete. IT'S MADE TO DO THAT! A knife like this is more for your outdoors task of skinning, butchering, field dressing, filleting if you are careful enough. This knife is NO chopper or clever. Get....that....straight social media. I know, I've done reenactment with Bollock Knives, Dirks, Arkansas Toothpicks, Longhunter Rifleman Knives, and yes Tomahawks and Handaxes. This is NOT a bushwacker knife. It's a hunting/outdoor with a slight touch of self defense. Just look at Ka Bars, Buck Knives and so on. This country boy born in Williamsburg, VA knows what he is talking about. Disclaimer: Any ignorant use with any stainless steel blades or any blade for that matter. Could result in chipping, fracturing, and finally breakage of the blade entirely. You have nobody to blame but yourselves.🖕🧐👍 SUCK IT! 😏🥴😁😅😂🤣
Where can I get this beautiful bowie knife
I got mine at Cabela's in Canada
If yo heart jumped up u need to go to the hospital..forget the knife.
Lol i like that one 🤣 you're a hundred percent right
These are 10$ regular price here in Canada
I'm in Canada too and i think i paid $30
@@bearmcman9828 I’m sorry I didn’t mean reg price. I got it on sale for 10$ reg price is 40$ at cabela’s
Same I got it for 10 bucks reg was 40 at cabelas
I've had a 1650t woodsman from the same people for a good bit now, always held a good edge and has been quite sturdy. I mainly use it as a self defense knife, but it seems decently tough
This would definitely be a good self defense knife LOL you pull that bad boy out and they tend to run in the other direction🤣😉
Awesome when attacking a pizza 🍕...it can’t be beat... actually the pizza 🍕 would be thick if you need more knife.
I believe the Scottish Claymore would be the best tool for cutting thick Pizza🤣🍕
Don't buy this gun broke fast with no support from umacrap . They messaged me that the gun was unrepairable after 90 days. Dont buy ir.. thx bro...
I agree mine also broke. Now it an expensive toy.
Tell folks not to buy umacrap They do not return calls. Crappy customer service..
Great video on a very nice pistol! I've had mine for about a year now too, no complaints.
Ya it's awesome it has never let me down 😄
Bear McMan, The 1911 is a.45 acp caliber pistol. The Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan is a replica BB Gun of a .45 acp pistol. It’s not a Clup it’s a Magazine.
Awesome thanks for your feedback 😀
Im from australia 😎
You are the one I'm talking about my friend 😁
Top of the pile of break me now bowie knives. It does not have a full tang, barely a rat tale tang.
The most awesome and informative video I have ever seen. You are the MAN!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks for the kind words I really appreciate it. 👍😁
Surely you jest. The sarcasm is strong in your comment. The most awesome & informative video you have ever seen? Really? Seriously? I trust you were being facetious. If not, you need to get out more & expand your horizons. Absolutely nothing here that was "informative' or "awesome".
