I can’t wait till I get in to the operators union. I’m sick of being an iron worker been in it 3 years as an apprentice. been working like a dawg already have back problems . Definitely ready to work less hard and live to see 90 lol
you guys definitely work you ass off and do alot of the shit noone wants to do same with laborers. You def can do it, i got in and am currently working and have zero construction experience prior. Go take the test. Plus to if youve been an iron worker for thee years your obviously not a lazy ass. Shit im a grade setter and was shoveling today with some of the laborers for the first time and I was pouring sweat while they were barely breaking one lol.

I feel blessed to be part of a Superb organization that offers me the opportunity to learn at a beautiful facility like this to better myself. I will be heading to this training center soon and wanted to check it out before I got there. I’m proud to call myself an Operating Engineer. I Can do what I love Running a tower crane. Your union is a racist shithole place to work for. Former member local 793. They actively fought against me having a safe and non toxic workplace. Then stole half my pension since they couldn't be bothered to enforce there own policies on race.
