So funny when 200 people tell you their awesome experiences with a product and there always has to be those 3 that tell the 200 they are wrong and there are better products
Wait till this guy hears about brand new tasmanian pattern axes like the Arvika. Not only do you have to sharpen the axe, its basically just an axe shaped billet that you have to make to your own liking
I do believe you're the only one I ever heard of complaining about the fiskars. I got the x27 and 8 pound maul. 6 pounder is next for me. They're great wood splitters
I dont remember how many times i hit on the concrete or stoned grounds and a little damage the sharp side but i never lose any cutting performance. I love my fiskars ❤
Helps when the head isnt stuck in the dirt lmao. Used one for almost 2 years for firewood and logging and they work wonderfully. Havent had an issue with mine at all.
Wow this guy is a sissy its a axe man what is wrong with you thats not even bad you can stil use that its fine snd its not chipped those are just deformations your a weirdo man those axes are great your the problem
That is going to make zero difference, it will split timber exactly the same, probably better than it did, before you hit the concrete with it, and you have to remember it's a block buster not a razor.
Have the same axe used it for 9 hours the first time I used it, never rolled it but I also never hit the ground with it. Any axe will break an edge if you hit the wrong thing with it, but at the same time if you're using it right having a chipped edge won't make too much difference in what it splits but the cheeks will
you're telling me the Wood is stronger than the ax? Lol, only explanation is if you hit something other than Wood… Fisker's axes are made with soft steel that is easy to sharpen. It's by design. My guess is you were splitting wood on the ground and you hit something in the dirt, or you have nails embedded in your firewood
I don't agree with you. I have fiskars X13 for camping. Chopping woods, doing almost everything on camping, I mean hard work and for me this is the best axe ever
Lol your not filleting a fish bud... Keep swinging 🤦

I have the x26. Used it to split cords of wood over the years. It’s an absolute work horse and is still sharp but showing wear as an axe should.
Much rather have a soft axe that can be sharpened with a file and not a hard axe that you have to use a whetstone like som gay bushcraft hippie

Keep it out of the dirt doofus
It‘s not made to split rocks 😉
Stupid
User error

funny how everyone is flaming the poster :)
Have you tried using it with your eyes open?
Split 32 cords of wood the past 5 years with mine and still going strong. Looks like that one took a dive into the dirt. User error!
One of the best axes out there. X25 x27 still going strong.
Used that with a chainsaw to cut down 2 acres, thats definitely a user error or return it with their lifetime warranty
If you can’t even zoom in on the “ruined edge” don’t waste our time making a video. That axe, I’m 100% sure, still flys through firewood.
The best axe for the money
i only buy Fiskars, they make best axes
Its an axe, not a maul. Don't treat it like one.
It's an axe not a splitter, buy the right tool for the right job.
Yeah man they build those things like disposable razors of the axe world😅
Any axe without wood aint worth buying brotha😅
Operator error.
Don't hit the concrete.
Picky a
Learn how to use it, and the chips won't happen. DON'T HIT THE DIRT OR ROCKS. I've had mine over 10 years got two dents from hitting rock
It's a maul axe , it's not meant to be razor sharp
Thanks you for your information man
Bro life is not that serious
Helps when the head isnt stuck in the dirt lmao. Used one for almost 2 years for firewood and logging and they work wonderfully. Havent had an issue with mine at all.
Skill issue

Ive had an X17 for 8 years and its mint 😂 use a splitting block

I can shave w my Fiskars hatchet. My axe didn’t do anything like that. It’s a boss. Splits great. I’m splitting oak, hickory, locust…
Like I use a no-nonsense harborfreight splitting axe I just make sure the axe is covered in waxe before I swing
Har en sån hemma för att klyva ved och den funkar hur bra som helst.

Sweet Boomer shoes. LOL
I own a hatchet version and best brand I’ve ever had. Love them. About to go buy the x27

😂
Don't hit the ground 😂😂😂 and don't dare say you didn't
Its a splitting axe ,not for cutting down trees , a small chip will make absolutely no difference to how it works
Idiot, that’s called user error
one of the best splitting axes and with warranty.
