Singapore is the best! Can't wait to go back again and explore more. I didn't get to doing the zoo or night safari but it's on the list! I want to do a couple days there. That's great! Didn't know you could get those sorts of promotions with Amex & SIngapore Airlines collaboration. I'm mostly using Qantas FF and a mix of Bankwest/Amex right now to book things but THAT deal sounds amazing. It would've been so cool to do the tour of the boutique with tea as well! Thanks for the recommendations - I haven't tried the Grand Hyatt Straits Kitchen before and the food looks amazing! I'm planning to go back and do videos on Singapore about the old culture and also street to fancy food options. Amazing! Did you spend regularly there to be invited to those events? I've only bought one bag from Moynat there but the staff were absolutely beautiful and I loved the interactions there. Absolute sweetest people!

@angeonaplane Your channel's looking good. I stumbled upon it by chance. Google analytics. The Amex Gold member promotions are quite random. My brother alerts them to me as he keeps his keen eye for deals. If you have an Amex Black card then you'll probably get offered these deals all day, everyday! Speaking of upgrades, I once met a British Airways Pilot and Head Steward at Singapore airport duty free. We struck up a conversation and they asked me for wine recommendations. Then amusingly, the Pilot asked me whether I was on his flight because he would give me access to first class food and amenities. Unfortunately, I was returning home whilst he was flying to Heathrow. I look forward to watching your future videos of Singapore. Initially I had nil interest in Singapore as a primary holiday destination. I hardly got out of the airport. Just brief stopovers and connecting flights to and from Europe. Wasn't until maybe 10 years later that I enjoyed exploring it's history, food & culture. Now I admire the colonial buildings, shopping, food and the hospitality of the people. My first cousin, for a few years, use to co-own a franchise of homewares stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. However he wound down Singapore operations during Covid. Surprisingly, I never made any purchases from the luxury boutiques that send me invites to special events and product launches. I'm not sure how their marketing works. I would have it a guess that their strategy probably focuses on wooing new potential customers, rather than existing ones? I'm not sure. Perhaps a combination of both. In the past, I have only gone in to browse, then placed my details on their mailing list or handed them my business card. I never felt they gave me preferential treatment other than good service, having a good rapport and perhaps my genuine consideration and knowledge of the brand. My most memorable experience was when I was invited to a private launch party for Rolex. I arrived early and was greeted at the door by a friendly stranger whom I immediately felt at ease with and spent most of the evening chatting to. Until half way through the night he was called on stage to make a speech, being announced as the Rolex Managing Director! Once his cover was blown he later showed me photos of him presenting the Queen of England a clock for her diamond jubilee. He also told me that his other great achievement working at Rolex was assisting Roger Federer's wife find a birth year Rolex Daytona watch for his then 30th birthday. Crazy ain't it?

@angeonaplane It's a great atmosphere during Race Week. The island comes alive with many rich and famous taking part in the yachting event. A few celebrity chefs provide the catering. However it's also the most expensive time to visit as you can imagine! Could've spent a week in Tokyo for the equivalent of 3 nights on the island! But I cherish the memories and the picture perfect postcard locations on the Great Barrier Reef.

​@@angeonaplane Because Orchard many mall good to see variation food inside mall and shopping, if sunday I still in SG I have time to visit church in Gran Hyatt hotel in the morning. And in the night time my favorite ice cream in Orchard Somerset top floor. Yeah Singapore in Christmas very beautiful, many place must visited like Jewel airport, Marina Bay, China town and Sentosa island. But my favorite place in Marina, I like visit Marina sky park during sunset is beautiful landscape. Garden bay the by during night show are beautiful. I have stayed somewhere else, but Orchard the best place to stay, yeah easy to find food, easy to find taxi and MRT station. I already visit 12 times in SG, I never bored yeah if compare with my country Indonesia, this like 1 century behind.

​@@angeonaplane I do not remember, but in top floor left side hallway near elevator, called snow ice cream. I like Thailand food in SG and my favorite restaurant Din Tai Fung. Indonesia are big country with good nature, but yeah not safety for backpacker tourist, hard to find taxi, bad public transport and traffic jam everywhere, very different with SG. Bali are good place to visit but not safety for backpacker tourist, Ubud the most popular place but the villa in Ubud very expensive. Average hotel in Bali cheaper then SG, like Hard Rock in front Kuta beach. But today many trash in Kuta beach, unfortunate there is a lack attention from Indonesia government. Yeah you can try go Bali the weather and sunset in Bali very beautiful. Bali is not like in Indonesia is like different country, Hinduism majority in there, are friendly with local and tourist. My dream was visit Japan, maybe in 2026 with my untie and mothers for one week. Yeah not much time to traveling over one week because have busy life.

Mmm sounds very busy in Indonesia and it's disappointing to hear that there's a lot of rubbish now - I think the tourism has contributed to that too because a lot of people go to party there. I love Bali and Ubud, they are very beautiful but it was a long time ago that I went. I hope you get to travel to Japan soon!

The first place is Keunkiwajip and the second place is Ilmi Kanjang Kejang ☺️ they’re both good but there are more crowds at Keunkiwajip because it’s more central and touristy
