I've recently bought a DJI action camera after sitting on the fence about Gopros. Lots of Vloggers (I'm not one BTW) rate them so that must say something. Great video 👌

Hi there. A long response for you. I used a Gopro hero5 session on the side of my helmet. It did great video as you can see on some of my youtube vids. It was very awkward because of having to purchase & fit the gopro mic adaptor, which had to be attached to the side of the helmet. The results i got from my helmet mic were not very good as if you watch you will understand. I have since bought a Dji action 4 at i think £246. I have not tried it on the bike yet but use it on my garage vlogs doing my TVR mods along with a very expensive little Sony RX100 Version 7. The mag mount is great & the footage is very good on 1080p which i record in. I found 4K was a waste of time because it took ages for the upload & the resulting video was no better on youtube than 4K. By the way if I used the gopro in 4K after a while it would just shut down without warning. For your titles i have discovered it makes a huge differenc to views attracted. The thumbnail picture has to wow the audience. I found free art software for this. It is called Photopad. In there you can as you can see from some of my recent posts a picture of whatever you want & stand out titles. Using a blue or yellow background , with text in the opposite colour. Say blue background with yellow text in bold. Or yellow background with blue text. These colours stand out on youtube better than any other colour. Remember to reduce the size of your finished image to be less than 2mb. Most of mine are only 1mb but still show up on youtube fine. I do try to make my video's around 30mins long. Some longer to keep the audience watching. I use Pinnacle studio 26 ultimate for editing but to use it to the full you need a degree in astro science & know the quantum theory. I do struggle with it. Your vlogs are great & the sound is very good. Very little wind noise at speed & going slowly none existant. Best of luck with your channel. Happy new year too. Subbed to your channel. Steve.

I would not have an aprilla given me. Totally unreliable cannot trust the bikes. Aprilla will never learn. Brilliant bikes when they are running fine but not to be trusted.

I’m literally looking for a bike for 2 up riding. Both around 100kg so need something strong, this looks like a decent option to be fair.😊

I used GoPro from 7 (their best model in terms of reliability), 8, 9 and 10. The GoPro 10 was the most unreliable action camera I ever owned that I even returned it to GoPro for a replacement. GoPro was consistently unreliable with plenty unusable footage; if I filmed 10 segments then only two or three of those segments might be okay and the rest unusable. Unfortunately with all the lost footage and my frustration with GoPro not working properly, my TH-cam channel suffered in 2022/2023 due to lack of videos. Last year I took a chance and switched to DJi and couldn’t be happier! I’ve got the DJi Osmo Action 4 and it just works, every ride, every time! With a reliable camera it’s reinvigorated my motovlogs and I’ve been uploading consistently this year (since owning the DJi). My experience with DJi has been that good that I’m thinking of adding a second DJi to my bike (possibly the DJi Osmo Action 5) and will relegate the reliable DJi Osmo Action 4 to my handlebars.

Surprised it’s taken you so long to realise that GoPro has gone down the swanny. I switched last year after the GoPro 10 was consistently unreliable with plenty unusable footage. I’m now using a DJi Osmo Action 4 and couldn’t be happier because it just works every time.

I did the valve reset and shim replacement. It did solve the hot restart rattle. 💪 But there is another 'rattle' that i hear, it was already there before I thought it would be gone after they did the clearance. Its heard in lower gears, low speed when you hold the throttle or when you slowing down. Hard to explain. You clutch in, its gone. Its not heard when stationary. If you guys watch the movie "Predator" you know the sound it makes, like a rattle 😂, or metallic-purring. Im incline to think its the characteristic of the engine itself. I just dont want to overthink and send it to suzuki, and they charge me labour if its a non-issue.

Hello Iv recently bought x3 he has given me a 30 day warranty I’m not sure but Iv noticed when accelerating I get a judery jerky acceleration I’m wondering if this is the same problem do you have the video you saw to diagnose your issue if so have you a link to it please if I can diagnose this issue maybe I can take it back to them and they sort it under warranty I don’t know I’m just chancing it only had it a week and stumbled across this issue when doing a long journey thanks in advance

Have one. Always loved them. When i dont want to put anymore mileage on it i'll bring it into the house so i can look at it all day. From every single angle they are beautiful to look at. Best of luck with it mate.

Good video. Had my RSV Gen 2 18 years and over 90,000 miles. Only issue the, stator which is a known fault. I've put 4 in. You can now have the flywheel derated back to 370w which was the Gen 1 output. Guy who works for Rotax in Austria, does them. Cures the issue.

I’m miffed about choosing a winter bike I can’t make up my mind apart from I think it’s got to be Japanese I like the Suzukis I had a vstrom a few years ago a 650 and enjoyed that bike but I’m not sure about either the gsx800 R or S I think the S be more comfortable when I sat on both then vstrom again 1050 or 800 probably 800 in the blue/black with gold wheels I don’t ride off road or once the salt has gone down so it should keep in good condition and a lot of fun I think great video take care ride safe mate

Hi there I’ve got the gsx s 1000 2022 got the same problem took it to my Suzuki dealership yesterday for my 7500 service and told them about the rattle from the engine the mechanic checked it out today and they phoned me up to say they need to replace 6 shims I will send another message when the work is complete

Any chance of providing the link to the video you mentioned showing the same symptoms? I have 435d and has what is best described as a 'stutter' throughout the acceleration. No fault codes, engine feels strong, just feels like a drivetrain issue (getting the power to the wheels), thanks.

The problem with having the valve clearances set to minimum is that the service intervals will now be shorter as these type of valve set ups usually close with mileage and not open up as with others.I have no intention of having mine done as I can happily live with a very slight 15-20 second tick after a hot start. My mate who is a tech at my dealership has listened to mine and assured me that absolutely nothing is wrong with it or anything is likely to go wrong with it. Iv'e known him for over 40 years and he's worked at my dealership for nearly 50 years so I think I can trust him!! Glad you're happy with yours now, I have a '23 plate black one but I can't stop drooling over the red one in their window !! Fantastic bike whatever the colour.

I’ve noticed your arms looks very straight in the opening segment of the video. When I review my footage riding the GT I look the same and wonder if I should add spacers to bring the bars back an inch so my elbow has a bend in it.

Noticed mine had a warm start rattle after 550kms, called the dealer they put me onto the mechanic and they said it was " normal ", they will check it at the 1000km service. Has there been any actual failures on these engines due to the rattle or is this just a feature ?

Interesting, mine started the hot start rattle after 500kms, was mildly annoying for a brand new bike, oddly its good to hear others have noted the same thing, so thankyou for posting.

life saver...i had the rear diff oil done but not the grearbox...i didn't know about front diff oil omg ill order that now too...booked in on 14th October thank u so much

What size / profile rear tyre did you use, heard some have gone to 55 from the standard 50 ?
