1000YEN BEATS VINYL ATTACK! a beat-making short-film
มุมมอง 43K10 ปีที่แล้ว
Similar to "SECONDHAND SURESHOTS" (2008), this is a short-film about musicians in Japan who create beats out of records with a limited set amount (¥1000) to buy those records... 1000 YEN ≃ 10 USD. If you visit Japan, be sure to check out: COCOLOBLAND®, the producers of this short-film. www.cocolo-bland.com/studio.html Starring & featuring music by: EVISBEATS: soundcloud.com/evisbeats MATSUMOTO ...

Man, the bit starting around 20:47 sounds like the beginning to one of the Final Fantasy battle themes, but I can't currently think of which one

+brandon b MU-Stars

Great documentary, but where can I hear the finished tracks in decent quality?
GoodmorningCaptain ikr
Does anybody know what machine was used to make the records. I would love to be able to so this at home. I'll look it up and come back with an answer if anyone is interested.
+pnoplyr14 In the start of the video it looks like the SP 404 sampler
+pnoplyr14 i skipped through the vid but from what i saw they were using late model mpcs such as the MPC 4000 one guy used a sp 404 another used protools on his laptop good luck getting your hands on an mpc these days they cost hella money. I would suggest the sp 404 if you want a hardware sampler. Or using an MPD with a DAW i personally use ableton live.
Dick jonson I should have included a time stamo. Thank you for the info though. I was actually referring to the device used at 28:45. It seems to be an at home vinyl pressing machine. That shit would be so cool to have. I just don't know what it's called. I've seen literally two online & they're thousands of dollars. I don't have the cake.
@@pnoplyr14 It's called an Acetate Cutting Lathe and... a professional one like that used for "dubplates" is in fact thousands of dollars.
DUDE!!!! You have to put more videos up. This was cool. Bless
This is dope
7:57 Yellow Magic Orchestra???
yes
増殖 Multipliesだね
When he mentioned MU-STARS, I laugh because I just got doubles of キックとスネアのバラード from Quasar EP today :D Been cutting those up. Loving this. Big up Billy Wildest!!
