The void morphics have a cradle override for rifle and shotgun. They have a weakness to power surge.

Keep an eye out for the deviant that looks like a rubix cube. You put it in containment and it gives a crafting resource to make an item that teleports all your team members to your location which is very handy.

Regen guys can be a pain. You have memetics in the cradle that can make a particular weapon damage them; pistols or snipers. Flame can also take down their shield so a torch at that level might work.
