I just find it strange how there was a delay in the gravity. Probably has to do with the fact that the ship is busted? Because surely the Covenant has their own gravity generators right?

Where exactly was the chief while he was teleporting, cause Cortana’s dialogue implies that his transmission wasn’t instantaneous.
Probably data or energy transformation and yeah it seems it wasnt teleport in the way that we know. In the previous mission cortana mentioned something about halo and it's energy. It was probably similar to a tram system but the entire Halo is just so big so his "stop" took a while.
