    Thanks everyone that has or is serving thanks that’s a good thing for arrowhead to do, I don’t know the story behind it, I’m sure it not over a lift arm ,is it,,,, ? Thanks BigAl California.

      Hey Big Al, thx for watching all the way from Cali. Arrowhead Speedway is badass in many ways. When they ran their first year last year, they had so many B mods that they would run two main events for them and paid out double purses. No, they didn’t give us all free entry because of my Lyft arm, but I wasn’t the only one that broke that night and they just felt bad because normally it is a bad fast smooth track. But rain days before saturated the track too much and caused it to rut. so that was their way of saying sorry, come back and see us. It’s a state of the facility. if you haven’t seen my post where I interviewed the promoter last year go back and watch that video and you’ll see how awesome it is. Thanks for watching buddy.

    People have no idea of just how good Carly is. That race that she was hurt in, she was lapping the field in the winged sprint car when a lapped car moved out on her for no reason and she got over his wheel. It's no knock on Tanner, her brother, but she REALLY drives hard and is aggressive but is also very controlled. She'll be a big star if she just gets the breaks, the sponsorship and the backing.

    I like Tanner. He was one of 360+ drivers that went home without the driller. He did very well for his first race in a midget. There were a few surprises in the racing but most had time racing midgets.

    I've been watching Tanner and Carly for a couple years now and he takes his craft very seriously! He will get better and I am sure he is planning some more time in a midget between now and then. I am sure that he was making next year plans before he even raced on Saturday. I love following the whole family and am looking forward to the 2023 season.

    I felt he did a great job, considering this was his first race in a midget. When you listen to him talk about his experience, you can tell he absorbs info like a sponge. He's a very intelligent driver. I can't wait to see how he does next year. I hope he get more midget seat time between now and then.

    I think he did better than just good for his first time in a midget. The chili bowl is kind of a joke when anyone with a car can register to race. I would like to see qualifying races throughout the year to get a invitation to compete against the best.

    With that many cars showing up to compete you know it's a crap shoot thinking that you’re going into the program. Your assessment that Tanner wasn’t comfortable in the car was spot on. Given the circumstances of this opportunity and the timing that took place to get there he did admirably well. I have followed Tanner the past year and see his growth improve dramatically. However the north west is limited with the types of tracks the mid west guy’s compete on and seat time cannot be over stated. He’s a charger and a very talented young driver, he has to come away with a decent accomplishment feeling and add it up experience.

  • @michaellane1316
    @michaellane1316 ปีที่แล้ว

    It will come in time should Tanner contiue to venture out more. I watch him when ever the chance comes out on the west coast via utube and he's determined to learn, improve and yes, excel when possible. He is not over confident, cocky or brazen, learning to be humble and own up to mistakes and not be overly critical of others should the mistakes fall in their wake. This young man, in my own observation, could easily find his way into other venues, formula 1, Indy, etc.. It's not just what any talent may lurking from no, it goes much deeper, he has much inner strength, a core if you will that if someone is mindfull of this, may put him into their stable of talent to improve and draw upon.

    To the Bowl is a joke , 631 cars , 80% of them should of stayed at home , lousy engines wore out frames used bars and springs and leaky shocks and very poor set ups !! It really surprise me he did as good as he did with out getting crashed . The guy that try to pass him and end up putting him in the wall was one of the ones that should of stayed at home , that guy is part of the 80% ..Like you said he done better than the average that is for sure ..........................

      @dannypadilla1574 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I agree. The more laps the better. I’m not saying you can’t make the main without practice. But your up against teams like the Toyota team that run weekly and have multiple wins throughout the years. He needs to be 100% comfortable in that car. He learned a lot this past week. I was happy to see him.

    We all agree that Tanner and his family are first class people in all ways. I met them all two years ago at the Ohio Sprint Week. But at some point (I think 2023), Tanner will have to show us all some more speed and competitiveness.....at least in the 410s. As it stands right now, Tanner is just not fast and consistent enough in those types of cars.
