Dumb question: when crude oil tankers are being transported empty, is it feasible to put containers and other cargo?

Fascinating that the crude oil tanker is powered by LNG which doesn’t pollute. An idea whose time has come.

I am always interested in where the rescue boats are stowed on some of these ships. On some I cannot see them and I doubt the life boats would be launched to aid in a rescue as it could be difficult retrieving them.
