Grass roots sailing at its best - and an excellent excuse to play with some vision. Thanks to everyone on the water contributing to the shots, and a bit of blues for the NSW team.

Good to see these can readily be sailed without using the trapeze, great for younger kids just moving up to the skiff!
No trap work?
Beautifully presented :) Please, what's the music?
+mother2bach Thanks! It's the Foo Fighters - called 'Stranger things have happened' from their Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace album
Thank you :)
good to see mark got a new t-shirt..
Yeah, overloaded! The nominal crew size for this boat in those wind conditions if 4 people, with three out on the trapeze. I think that boat was dangerously overloaded. As for the other boat, well, their upwind sail trimming needed some work.
I loved the lightweight snakebox, best boat design ever,I was forward hand on the Maroochydore boat "Mariah" owned by Les Brown in the late 60s.. When in the interview John mentioned the boat speed it reminded me of when we used to give the Quick Cats a bit of a hurry up when on a three quarter run with every thing hanging out. Good to see hear John after all of these years.
Who says it never blows in Canberra!
what a great day for sailing a flying fifteen
we were there in 2010 january and the lake was half empty! The sailing was still great (as long as you don't step onto a jelly fish!)
