ON another matter. No one who is alive today and watching this video is going to live long enough to see such monstrous planes being totally "battery electric". No one. The idea is utterly absurd. For several independent reasons.

Queen of the sky is still magnificent after all these years.

It was looking out the window near the leading edge of the wing, during the takeoff roll and seeing the Rolls-Royce engine logo on the engines as the aircraft gathered up speed before liftoff,at V1,and then "rotate" and the climb out from the airport,that was an awesome feeling to experience you just cannot get anywhere else.I only flew on a few QF 747's back in the day.But they were the best flight experiences ever,that I will always cherish in my mind.

I miss that type aircraft greatly.There was nothing better in the World than flying on a Qantas 747.
