Our non-profit celebrates 50 years of service this year (1974-2024). We gathered to celebrate and socialize at the end of July.

Very little film exists that shows Koichi Tohei Sensei being thrown by his teacher, O-Sensei, the founder of Aikido. Morihei Ueshiba was 69 years old when film was shot in 1952. Tohei Sensei was 32. The following year Tohei Sensei would leave Japan to introduce Aikido in the United States.
