yes and no - still easy enough to take a bass on a swim, but not every time. spearos seem to be targeting the gilt head bream more now.

@@JonnyTwofifty A nice species to have available! They're very rare in Wales, I got a small one a few years ago and DaffydRees got one last year, same spot on the same beach. Dario had one about 10 years back, again, the same beach, but apart from that, to the best of my knowledge, no-one else in Wales has ever speared one. No great size to them. Glad here the bass situation isn't too dire, it's not bad in Wales these day, it got pretty terrible about 6 years ago but definitely on the up now.

Yes we had a fair few dives over the summer - there was a day with hundred of mullet - see my 'Mullet Movie' - amazing to experience. working towards more reef dives than shore next summer... Yes they are Oyster beds. Hope youre doing well Bros.

@@JonnyTwofifty brilliant, I'll watch it now! I remember watching a few french videos years ago with people spearing around the oyster beds, looked really good fun. I'm well thanks, not enjoying lockdown one bit but can't exactly complain too much. Business is fine and I can work from home. I'll probably work from home forever now, which is a slightly strange feeling. Covid kind of ruined diving last year, especially as Wales was sealed off for the best bits of the summer. I'm still a long, long way from the sea and only managed one trip, I actually posted the video on here a couple of days ago, it was a very good day out, at least! I hope you're doing well? It seems a long time since the DeeperBlue days. I'll look forward to your reef videos this year!

Thanks, the section at 25mins is after Courmayeur; Tete de Tronche - its the variant option. you can use the Autourmontblanc website for booking - I used Cairn trekking company to book which took out the hassle and did my itinerary for me.

Thanks, yes and no - I met up with my wife to do the last part together - there were some really big crowds in some places so we did it over a couple of days - not really the continual TMB style but at least we got to see it.

yeh, its such an amazing trip - thinking to go again with a bit longer days next year... I agree the Fenetre didnt feel so special which is why I went around, but then backtracked up - nice to see the glacier there though.

I still have it but don't use it; i've actually added a third band but not sure if the trigger mech is up to it...

Not deep at all - probably my deepest dive those nights was 7metres, most much less.

if i want to anchor then i use a small folding anchor about 1kg but usually i clip into a loop on my weight belt.

i mount it on a floaty hand grip - it sits in the drink bottle holder on my running vest and can just take it out when i want to or film with it in place.
