Not working at all - being unemployed is actually "stressful". With fixed expenses, and living in NY, even saving for 1 year is NOT enough of a cushion, and I don't live in Manhattan. I continue to grow and evolve - while I remain employed. Nothing fun about not being employed - to me. Unless you have a business you are growing.

I quit mine about five months ago and the return of my physical and mental health has been life changing. It was the one action I agonized over for years that gave me everything I needed back and allowed me to discover what I actually wanted in life, so much to the point that it influenced the birth of my channel. I really hope it works out for you!

i recently took a leave of absence from my corporate job because i also wanted a break. i haven't gotten the courage to fully quit yet.

I walk every morning too. I left my job. And now seqrching for a new projekt

I've been thinking of taking some time off as well, but do you worry of using up your savings than keeping them for retirement etc since it's good to save early in life and it's already hard to save enough for retirement?

I definitely feel the same thing you two expressed on. Predominantly white coworkers who i cant relate to much, feeling imposter syndrome. Seeing their work ethic (which they have great work ethic), and how they really are all about work work work. Whereas I am in the same as you, i only do this for the pay. Once im off i focus on my family, hobbies, and interests. Many times being so mentally drained where I rather sleep right when i get home, and wake up when the alarm sounds again, just to still feel tired af and full of anxiety. Seeing my coworkers in higher roles (which i will eventually become), and how theyre working more than 40 hrs a week, and I'm here like... i only want to work 40 hrs a week and not more 😅. I cant afford a break year because i own a house, too many bills, etc. But thankfully im in a good paying career where i can save and plan for my escape (a side business, etc.). Best wishes to ur future endeavors.

Omg this is the best description. It’s so sad but at the end of the day, well in my opinion at least, this kind of behaviour from family will determine exactly whether they except you or not. If everything you say or do is taken as offensive then they’re the problem. Willing to be open at all is an issue within themselves, it also shows that they lack the ability to take accountability and you simply cannot reason with people like this because they will leave absolutely no room for your feelings, at all.

1000% people are brooooke they dont want to give money to these celebrities. I also think that people dont worship celebrities and celeb culture like they did 2 years ago so theyre just not bothered about the height of it. I think it correlates with how we dont care about the kardashians anymore 😅
