IggyTube Ronda carried Tate that entire fight and didn't win quick because she was punishing the poor girl until she refused to fight back. Halfway through round 2, Tate realized that Ronda wasn't trying to win, because she had an armbar set up and passed on that to mount her and beat her face. Tate pretty much stopped striking at all, and in round 3, she was as submissive as ever, and just let Ronda finish her and she tapped out fast, probably glad it was over. I like Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano most of all her opponents. That's why she said Miesha disrespected her family - because she was doing childish prank stuff while her mom was there. If you have something against someone, don't instigate stuff while their mom is there because moms have influence on how you respond and it isn't fair. Her mom actually said don't show Edmond because he has small kids and didn't want to risk him retaliating and getting in trouble. She said they could prank them back but Dana White I think had already told both teams to knock off the BS so in fact, Tate had disrespected him too. BTW Iggy rocks. 😜

Gramps Ford Yep- that is exactly how it went down. I would have liked to have seen Dana pull Mr. and Mrs. Tate off to the side and chew their ass out for continuing with the childish, mocking of Edmond's ethnicity. That was very out of line and I am surprised Miesha and Bryan didn't get taken to a racial sensitivity training course. Bigotry is bigotry-is isn't just about african americans and hispanics.

+Cuivre I'm not saying that she could beat this dude, but I don't think she would be the least bit scared to fight him..... Just judging by how close she was to him and how she never blinked when she was in his face, I don't think she gave a fuck.

A recent podcast Ronda and Edmond were on, she explained that the fight was meant to play out with Ronda breaking Miesha of her will to 'defend', so it wasn't just making her unwilling to fight back but also to break her will to struggle at all. Ronda said about round 3 - she used the sloppiest take down and she could even finish her from the bottom because she knew Tate had nothing left. That's why she tapped immediately.
