Sacred Gold In under 25 min IGT [WR]
This is a speedrun of Sacred Gold: Ancaria Any% Unrestricted - meaning all glitches are allowed
The big game breaking glitch is what we call "Wrong Quests", which is done by moving quest menus in between different characters, when you do you can trigger effects that the player was never supposed to be able to access, including:
Wrong warps
Quest updates
Dev quest updates (developer shortcuts to jump into later parts of the game)
Quest items
And remote credits/cutscene activation

Finally getting back to this game again. Planing to cover some of the glitches & skips first and then try and do a route for the no offscreen category. 1 of the biggest implication of many of these glitches is not just the direct timesave, but the fact that you save keys. Just saving 1 extra key that you where not intended to have can let you do some major skips later on!

Fun little game. Sad to mess mashing on boss, could maybe have gotten a quick kill and skipped last phase.

More simple this time. This uses the new "Bind=ScrollWeapon SelectTimePSX2=0" cutscene skip glitch l0m found to skip cutscenes that places you inside a cutscene map. I find this 1 of the easiest oob in the game. The jump could take a little practice but the movement is very safe.

You actually don't want to time the jump instantly after getting knocked off, it needs to have a slight delay or else you will get a grounded attack instead of ground pound It is also possible to do a tail swipe instead of ground pound and get on top of hes head again to skip another face but that is stupidly hard.

This new setup makes this skip very viable to do. Specially since it saves soo much time, about 3 min. The biggest time save comes form the death warp, skips a long return trip.

I did the speedrun a few years ago, managed to do it in 5:09 minutes

Its sad that this game didnt get enough fame.Tbh is one of best games i ever played,better than todays games like BF2042 and elden ring.
I belive multiple people have worked on finding all of this. Found a lot of warps, duplication etc. myself but my god i didnt know you could use the save glitch to this extent!? (Dev quest updates??). You even saved the game in multiplayer to do some magic. Would love to know everything in detail and how you got there! And I have to say this is one of the few videos i liked in my lifetime... This is impressive!

Great video ! I was actually proud when I came up with the jump 10 idea ^^ But I probably should have put it in the thief's journey as it's more of a grindy precision jump. It kinda break the rhythm of the path.

Great! I have no idea, how you find all this things over and over again! Can you explain or mb load a video with your binding setups, please? I read your and qts dialog about bindings and time setups for cutscenes, but it's hard to understand because of my bad English)
I could try make a summary of all the new thigns that have been found and show the binds. There have been a lot of new things found recently not just by me, l0m have found some crazy things.

At 4:37 wall jumps isn't available yet. How did you skip having to buy wall jumps?
I use a glitch to buy it early. Just press down and confirm at same time and it lets you buy whatever is under your selection.

haha, what a coincidence! I have done quite a lot of glitch hunting, and you kind of learn how to look for these things. And there was a guy who found a lot things before me so got a good base to work from.

Is this the steam version? I have the hard copy of this game, and it seems to have slightly different graphics. For example you only see the hands with gloves on from the character, not the full arms who look like they are from Slenderman.
I don't think there is a steam version or is there? Why the arm looks different is because I changed my fov in the config file, feels more comfortable to play with 110 fov, it's just that the arms gets a bit weird with it.

I guess, I mostly enjoy glitch hunting and routing of old obscure games and most of the time they ends up being kinda bad too.
