Kongo to Takihata! 金剛〜滝畑ダムへ！

Mick and I climbed Mt. Kongo halfway and cut through Iwawaki Forest to Takihata Dam in Kawachi Nagano. We discovered a new cafe, then raced home before sunset. Join us! This was a spontaneous ride. The weather was perfect, and the rice fields are ready for harvest. One of my favorite times of the year. Takenouchi Hilclimb

I live nearby on of the oldest roads in Japan, the Takenouchi kaido. There is a fantastically painful little hill climb over this pass between Osaka and Nara prefectures. It's a short loop, so I do it before work. It hurts every time. Shot with the Insta360 Go3s On Instagram @TheClimb_Ks

Ride from Nishinomiya to Sasayama There were some icy areas on the mountains, so I took it easy on the descents. The descents going back were beautiful. Definitely going to do this ride again when it warms up. Also, it was my second real ride of the season, so I really cracked on the last few climbs. 7591 ft elevation gain www.strava.com/activities/491332266

Good video. I love those Japanese countryside roads, particularly the sketchy road weaving thru the forest. I would love to ride some of those roads but at 73 I don't do allot of traveling, or big climbs. Mostly gravel mnt roads of British Columbia interior. Look forward to more videos.

Nice video great views but the back ground music is awful. I had to mute the sound to get through the video. Spoilt my enjoyment. Would have been better with a running commentary. Even if it was dubbed on afterwards.
