Still Mary is the idea that my anxiety and depression does not define me and I am here to share testimonies. By the grace of God, I am the vessel used by beautiful people. That they may find it in themselves to share their stories to bring awareness to mental illness. Mental illness is very much prevalent in our society and I believe my purpose is to shed light on the stigma of what depression, stress, anxiety and bipolar may bring. The devil works diligently and consistently to overthrow our peace and happiness by using our weaknesses. He targets the powerful thing we possess, our mind. Still Mary was created because I had dark days and the more stories I hear about suicide, the more I was driven to advocate that no matter the mental illness, your past, your current situation, you are STILL you. Stay true to yourself, honor yourself, and be kind to yourself.
