I’m Walking from the UK to Vietnam!!! (Episode UK-France)
มุมมอง 8K12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I usually spend my winters partying for six months in a jungle, but this year? I decided to walk 12,000 km instead. Walking from the UK to Vietnam That's right-l'm walking from the UK to Vietnam. That's 12,000 kilometers, across two continents, on foot. Just me, my backpack, some questionable snacks, and my chubby legs taking me step by step through this insane adventure. #travel #vietnam #uk W...

Good luck mate. Just subbed. I'll be keeping an eye on your journey over the next year.
Theres no way he's gonna succeed. Its a hell of a mission, that.

@@Chubbytrekka Good. I'll repost something similar every few days then. Don't get me wrong - I wish you luck and I applaud your spirit - I have never attempted anything even a fraction as hard. I just don't think you can do it. It's going to be monumentally hard and I believe the vast majority would fail. That said, good luck, and be safe.
I pray for you to get through the dangerous Middle East.🙏
When you come to water and theres no way around. Take your shoes and socks off tie them to your bag. Wade through. Dry your feet and put your shoes and socks back on.
TH-cam decided to suggest you so Im watching! Keep going !
I hope your social media is sky rocketing. I’m traveling to Asia the next month for 6 months and will travel, build a bar and try to make my TH-cam channel. Wish to gain a bit confidence in front of camera as you seem to have.
This is awesome. Thank you for picking up a camera and bringing us along on your epic journey. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Subbed
What a legendary journey. You'd already done so much before even leaving the UK. Inspirational! Might be cool to do a "what's in my pack" vid, might even be able to generate some revenue from it by providing sponsored links.
Thanks mate. That video is coming next week
Well this is going to be fun to watch
I have been using Komoot for years, great app.
its a Toad!
Is there a reason you are walking to Chiang Mai and doubling back on yourself ?
it is a map glitch mate
@Chubbytrekka gl I live neat Ayhuttaya but return to the Uk late Feb if you are passing and need to crash
Next Q&A turn the volume down on the tune 😉 Sorry, its hard to focus on what you're saying and we're all keen to hear the nitty gritty 🙌🏼❤️
Noted :)
Going to walk to the fridge to grab a beer.
Enjoy it!
Share the channel peeps. Let get him some serious subs, for chubbs. 😁
Thanks legends
Just seen you arrive in France. Well done!!
I look forward to seeing your face on Instagram everyday!
Thanks legend
Do you have a digital copy of your passport?
Yes
Why do you ask?
How long did the blisters on your feet take to heal? How did you help them heal? As I would of thought they couldn't heal with the constant walking. Is the skin on your feet now rock hard?
I have a friend who died of sepsis from a blister from their boot. Please be careful
Some heal within a few days and I have another that’s been here for over a week. I think it depends on the area of my foot
Ouch sorry to hear that!!
@@Chubbytrekka i seem to remember a mate in the RAF tell me they would put something on their feet to harden and dry up the blisters and develop some thick calases. Good luck on your journey. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your travels!
@@mememe332 sorry to hear that! Sepsis is a horrible sickness which is often misdiagnosed which makes it deadly if not treated with antibiotics asap. If you have a raised heartrate, fever (chills), trouble urinating, feel difficult to breathe, get yourself urgent help immediately. My son had it and luckily he was treated in time.
Somethg flourescent to wear? Your black clothing is dangerous, how are drivers meant to see you?
I now have a hi vis :)
You need a belt for the rucksack, puts the weight on your hips not your shoulders.stop and buy a belt! A proper padded camping belt
Just seen the first few mins of your story, wishing you all the very best of luck and can’t wait to follow along on your awesome challenge😊
Well done sir 🫡🙏👽
Yeah man, best of luck dude! Dunno how i stumbled across your vid, but Im glad i did! Im in thailand and cant imagine walking all the way back home to the uk! Lol some trek! Gwan lad! 😎🙏
Amazing achievement. Fair play.
Awesome! I hope you make it all the way. But even half way would be crazy!
Question when you arrive in Vietnam, will you fall in love with a Vietnamese lady ? It will be difficult not too
Fair play to you . Hope you get it done as it’s going to be a tough one !
How or where will you charge your phone, camera?
Amazing! Did you rest in France?
I had one rest day in Calais but it wasn’t planned. It was because of a huge storm 😂🤪
What a trip, what an adventure brilliant just subscribed and hit the bell cant wait to follow the journey good luck
Good on ya mate. Your video also just appeared in my feed. But that looks like the journey of a lifetime. Good luck. Subscribed!
MATE! You've currently got 3.74k subs. This journey could and should be massive for you. I'm going to sub right away and turn on notices. Be consistent, be you, dont use any silly background music, seek improvement as you go and I suspect you'll have 50-100k+ subs by the time you get to Vietnam.
Thank you for your support bro ❤
Awesome challenge! See if you can pick up one of those folder up chairs which are quite light weight.
Good luck man. Wanted to do this when i was a kid. Really jealous of you
I'm struggling to watch this video content fantastic, but why is there like a triple screen it's so annoying that it couldn't fimsg due to this
I’m sorry bro, I filmed most of it in portrait. Il invest in a GoPro

@@IAK- will get a go pro bro!!
@@Chubbytrekka lets go bro, i’ll be here for every vid brother
Nice. Legend. I want to come…. 👏👏
This is gonna be interesting! Count me in as a subscriber! I have bad memories of that pub by the canal in Berkhamsted, not because it's not a nice pub, but because of someone I used to go there with. 😏😆 And finally, I have a friend who thought Father Christmas was real until she was 13 years old...yes, 13!!! 😮 Onwards and upwards. All the best!
Hero
Mate it's gonna take you 113 days 13 hrs via Ukraine and Afghanistan, good luck if you don't get shot, but fair play to you, doing 35plus miles a day,
Anker power banks are the best mate. Even Apple approve them lol
Having done a lot of travel by bike I learnt that getting up early and doing as much distance before lunch means you can then have an easier afternoon, have the time to refeed properly and find camp for the night. Regularly going to bed late will quickly catch up with you. Good luck!!!
Just watched the video, well done and looking forward to the next one. Are you tracking calories, weight loss ect.
I wish you the best👍👍👍👍

Poor me, in January i go to🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
