I feel like now that we know what happened to him as a kid... it definitely makes you wonder if this song was his way of letting go of what happened, moving on, and looking forward. Maybe that's why he still enjoys playing this song and why it still packs a punch. It's probably also why he is so bothered by the realize vs realign confusion. He already knew... so realize makes no sense in this story.

You can tell most people only know the song from the intro cause whenever he goes into a new verse the crowd stops singing along

He stopped interacting with her after he learned the true age. He never sent any sexually explicit imagery, let alone molested anyone. And a lot that the girl accused him of was proven false afterwards. He only got in trouble because he technically did commit a crime by endangering the child in the first place. That's it. He's not as evil as the internet makes him out to be

Tuning by ear is actually not that hard. Just takes a little bit of practice and ear training. You can use the other strings also to tune whatever string your currently on
