You boys down for a little anal next time you are out that way? I live out the daddies lol
Can the servo motor be the mg90s? the finger goes down but doesn't go up anymore, do you have the servohorn link for the mg90s
You’d have to modify the model. I’d be worried you wouldn’t have enough torque. You might be able to find other arm projects on Thingiverse.
I would also like to know which thread you used to move your fingers and how you tied the knot with the thread.
Oh, it’s just fishing line. Some simple knots.
Hey. I wanted to know if instead of using these engines there is a way to use the other one. and I also wanted to know what you used to put your fingers together.
help me
Hello Robert,, can I use this video in my compilations? Credited on-screen with a link back.
Hello mate May i feature it with credit back to you? Thanks and any comment on what happen? Stay safe!

Amazing performance. 🎉

Wonderful!!!
Awesome!!!
Hello Mr. McManus. I am a university student working wih my partenr on a project similiar to yours. we're not able to find information or a guide on how to connect and use the serial ports to control the irobot with the nvidia jetson nano. is there any chance we can contact you and ask you how to do that ? we are planning to use a python interface when the issue of the serial ports is resolved. we would really appreeciate it if you could help us. thank you in advance.
Hi! You should be able to follow the documentation within my GitHub page. See here: github.com/bobxor/jetroomba
Lovely !
Thank you Zander! It's shocked so many Eagles flying together, glad to see you and your friends had fun with the Eagles.😊
I'm into bionic limbs.years ago I built a five fingered hand.the forearm was made of fiberglass.the fingers were toggle bolts.they were individually operated by five separate servo motors.had fingertip sensors too.worked extremely well.it lasted fifteen years before it broke on me.ive built legs too.ive even built mechanical exo-bionic devices that I wear.one I call the exolift that fits over my left arm and enables me to lift heavy objects.cool design you have there.even the cat was amazed I see.
That’s awesome! I’d love to see your projects.
@@robertmcmanus9204 I don't have the arm anymore and kinda moved on to pet stuff.i have four gerbils and a hamster that I've built vehicles for to play in,some powered.i also built what I call an exo-bionic mantis gripping suit which is lightweight and I wear and has extendable folding arms that extends my reach, completely unpowered and allows me to function like a real mantis.hard to explain.im going to make videos soon of these projects and post them.im going through a crisis right now because my girlfriend of fourty years passed away recently from terminal cancer.but I'll keep you updated.
Sooo cool 😍
how much did it cost and how do you provide the input sensors or switches? great work
I just had servos from other projects laying around, you can get them new $5-$20 each. You can probably find sweet deals on Craigslist. In an ideal implementation, the motor is also the sensor. You can measure the back-EMF in order to tell there is strain and respond. This is more of a demonstration of the 3D printing.
could you tell me about the power supply you used ?
Just a variable power supply. It was peaking at a few amps from time to time.
amei
can you make the fingers snap?
Yes, but not in a good way! :)
@@robertmcmanus9204 lol but could it do a "finger snap"
Gratulacje 😍
This is by far one of the better arms i’ve seen
th-cam.com/video/guDIwspRGJ8/w-d-xo.html yea? check this out. They doing this robot no profit few months ago
all robot hands I've seen had a stiff palm.. that's why even though the finger movements is good, they can never mimic human grip..
Great Video!
