I wish there were more videos about this! I have my first EF Ultimate Break trip this October for the Tokyo Experience, and I opted for the room upgrade. Sometimes I go back and forward with myself on if I should have done that, because that could have been more spending money for me, but at the same time I do value my peace, and it would be nice to not have to share a bathroom with anyone.
This is just the video I needed to see! I’m going to Australia with EF next spring and I have been debating getting my own room since it’s a 2-week trip. The point you made about not having to coordinate showering in the morning is good. I think for shorter trips I would be okay with sharing a room, but after a while I need time to recharge and get quality sleep. I think this is the video that’s pushed me to just pay for the upgrade already. 😆
