My Captain is on the 92 right now delivering her to Palm Beach here's the numbers he gave me yesterday when they left NJ 4000gal of fuel fully loaded turning 2050 making 29knts burning 175hr
frankr3337 wow that’s good usage for a boat that size. I was on an Estrella 65 by hcb and that burned 118 going 35.

Horacio I think you misunderstood the video. Notice the celebration at the end. Is not a good idea to give the locals the opportunity to kill the fish. We've been practicing catch and release for the 10 years or so and we should embrace this new action. Let's not kill the marlins.

Next time cut the line and get out of there. I live here in DR, I've been fishing all my life and I cant tell you that nothing good ever comes out of those episodes. I congratulate on how you guys handled the situation. Many locals would have made the situation worst. There is very little regulations for local comercial fishermen and that is also part of the problem. Good luck fishing the rest of the world guys, come back soon.

Im sorry you guys had to live that. But its a reality that exists in our country. They issue for me is not about killing the fish. Its how the where aggressively getting in your way. They could very well have caused and accident and safety is the most important thing out in the sea. If anything would had happened to those guys it would have been a different story. Specially because those guys take advantage of foreigners like you and are willing to wreck their boat just few bucks in exchange.
