When the entire world was shrouded by the fear of COVID19 and artists were out of work and had a lot of time in hand, that's when the studio band called The Jobless Quartet was formed. This song is a rearrangement and recreation of the timeless composition of R D Burman in bengali - Phire Elam Dure Giye, which was sung by Asha Bhosle and R D Burman. Interestingly, the melody of the song has been played by India's top trumpet player Kishore Sodha, instead of being sung by a singer as it was originally done. Singer and songwriter Ujjayinee Roy composed and created this version with the thought that there would NOT be any plugged instruments used in the track except the bass guitar (sourcing an upright bass in the middle of a raging epidemic was a tad adventurous idea). Also, that the harmonium would be used to replace other commonly used key instruments like the keyboard or piano. Some footages of the artists recording the audio, have been shot in their homes.
