The Crane Hooks Clip Broke!
We recently had some very strong winds come through. Many old growth trees were completely uprooted. During all the chaos of clean up I didn't have time to think to make a video. Once things died down a little I got a call to remove this hung up oak top. We have Oak Wilt in our area and since it was past the susceptible time frame I was weary to make any cuts. I decided the piece could not stay above the clients home. So I made small cuts and plan to go back in the late fall early winter to make a proper pruning cut. Oh yea the crane hooks clip broke earlier that day on a different job. Since I subcontract the crane the job still had to be completed. Thanks for watching!

Huge Fallen Oak Removed With GRCS!

This tree fell on Halloween day. That day I was doing a crane removal of three oaks when all of a sudden we were hit with some of the heaviest snow I've ever seen. It took maybe one hour of snowfall for the trees to start failing. When my employee made it home in North Muskegon, he said he stood outside for 5 minutes and heard 28 trees break or fall. This kind of snowfall on Halloween has not b...

This was the last tree for a project at a day care in Holland Michigan. We saved this one for last for obvious reasons. I really didn't want to climb it. The rope didn't do much but I do think even being caught in the vines it gave us just that little bit of force we needed to over come the lean. We felt weird about dropping it into the drain area but the city gave us permission to remove the t...
Executive Decisions, Flying Objects, and Alien Carvings?

I was beyond lucky to stumble into a rotten fence post allowing me bucket access. These trees were huge! We trimmed the Oak for shed safety and removed the neighbors beech tree so the client can get more light to their pool. We may end up removing more of the neighbors trees. Time will tell. Executive decisions were made, wood fragments took a long fly, and I believe aliens carved this tree som...

I trimmed these trees the year prior to the removals. When trimming them I noticed some decay pockets. The client decided to have them removed now considering he is redoing the landscaping. There is always room for improvement but all in all Id say this job went quite smoothly. We had to drag all the wood and brush out by hand. We used ice fishing sleds to pull the wood out to the loader. Pleas...

Ive honestly never had them start the saws for me. I know I should let them run first but man I just hate having a running saw next to me.
