All but two of the tracks on the US Rarities album have been released on CD, so I don't see it coming out. I imagine we'll get the extended And I Love Her in the A Hard Day's Night box set and the alternative I Am The Walrus in the Magical Mystery Tour box set, whenever Apple see fit to release those. The original Capitol Albums Volumes 1 and 2 were the ones which Dave Dexter Jr mastered. The remaining albums were much the same as the UK masters, so again, everything on them has already seen a CD release. The problem with the US albums is that they were several tape generations down from the UK originals. It strikes me that these days, AI could be used to apply the processing that Dexter did to create the US masters to the original first generation UK mixes, giving the American sound of the Capitol albums, but with the audio quality of the UK originals. I would like to see the compilation albums of the 70s and 80s get a re-release at some point, but it's not a priority. Perhaps once the entire canon has been remixed.

It’s interesting how in some of these box sets the blu ray is in a protective sleeve but the CDs are packed tightly into the pouch with no sleeve. Yeah it’s a cliche but don’t give up on your dreams. Just like with being an actor or musician, it’s very hard to make it a full time job, never mind being famous, but you can do it part time or on the side even for fun. Not sure about the studio situation in your neck of the woods but maybe there are things you can do to make it a small part of your life at the very least.

My Dad just gave me his record collection, he's 81 years old. There are some old 55s, Beatles records, all kinds of stuff. 2 boxes of albums, a box of older 55s & a box of singles & my Dad is a scouser, born & bred in Liverpool. Dad & Mum went to school with some of the Beatles. I havent gone through them yet but there are lots of Beatles & Elvis & all kinds of stuff. I'm sure he has many Beatles singles, some from the UK & some from here in Australia. I'll go through them tomorrow.

There is one I keep seeing on Discogs that I was thinking of when watching, wondering if you knew of it but it didn't get a mention and it's a Dutch 1975 gold vinyl Beatles Greatest. The original was released in '65 so possibly it was to mark the 10th anniversary of it (?) They seem to be plentiful and cheap too - obviously shipping would bump the price up to a lot of countries though. I have the standard black vinyl version from 1975 and it's a mixture of mixes including some Duophonic simulated stereo. Great video - first thing I've seen on your channel and I've subbed on the strength of that! 😀

I went to order the Ringo CD with an 11x11 poster for $10.99 then they wanted $8.99 shipping and I stopped...I'll just get it from Az with out the poster. But I do like that all this stuff is coming out..just can't get it all. take care

I’m only getting the SHM albums of the ones I didn’t get the archive for so it was McCartney last time and Wings Over America this time. If that unnamed album comes out in the next batch I think we can kiss the archive goodbye. But for now there’s still hope 🤞

Hi. It's Eliot Wien from NY. On October 25, 2024 Dark Horse Records will be releasing The Early Takes Volume 1 by George Harrison on vinyl. This is all part of The Dark Horse reissue campaign. All the rights to all of George Harrisons albums are all now transferred to The Dark Horse label including all his Apple Records albums! A few weeks ago, Cloud Nine was released again on Dark Horse Records.

The jukebox 45s which have been mentioned - there are 31 Beatles ones, issued by Capitol CEMA Special Markets by mail-order, in batches between Jan 1994 to Jan 1996. 13 of them were new pairings, and these tended to couple two tracks from the same album - eg Lucy In The Sky / When I'm 64; Here Comes The Sun / Octopus's Garden and so on. One of them (Norwegian Wood / If I Needed Someone) was issued as a freebie for purchasers of an album box set. Another, Love Me Do / PS I Love You was pressed on red vinyl by accident! I think they're pretty cool, anyway.

Hi Dustino, Great video, In 1987 for the Australia/NZ market EMI/Parlophone released Sgt. Pepper's on Red Vinyl, The Beatles (White Album) on White Vinyl and Yellow Submarine on Yellow Vinyl. I wish I had the Sgt. Pepper's on red vinyl, but I do have the White Vinyl version of the White Album and the Yellow Submarine on Yellow Vinyl. In the 90's there were a number of Jukebox singles including all of the UK singles released in the US in multiple coloured vinyl.

Great video! There was a really cool marble vinyl version of Pepper in Canada in 1978.

I have the Australian red coloured Sgt. Pepper’s & white coloured “White Album”, but not the yellow coloured Yellow Submarine. These are great, but only for collecting.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I remember the love songs color vinyl....a dealer in the DC area wanted $35 in 1977...I passed on it...had the black copy already...

Many of the colored vinly releases came out when I was a teen and I didn't have a lot of cash to buy them all. I did get the red & blue and white from Capitol. In the mid 80s there were some White Albums from Germany or France on White vinyl and beautiful Apple label. The Red vinly Japanese mono set was also beautiful. I do enjoy the colored vinyl and wish I had thought to get them all in the past, now too late to start over. Enjoy

The Japanese red vinyl pressings are not only Audiophile vinyl editions, but also indicate that they are first issue. So, they can be counted.

I appreciate the effort in making the video. But to me, everything flashed by so fast they looked exactly the same.

I think for their first 6 albums they should release 2 albums per box set by year. So a 1965 set would include "Help!" and "Rubber Soul". We've already heard some primo outtakes, a nice remix in true stereo would be a big draw. I don't need to hear any live performances from that period, they could include demos, alternate takes, studio chatter maybe.

How much more of a waste of your life are you going to do by posting stupid idiotic videos like this?
